No, this cannot be happening... Those screams were definitely from Patrick and Pete, no doubt about it... The question is is what the hell happened to them? I don't even want to know what happened... This just keeps getting better and better.

"W-What was that?" Elisa asked.

"It sounded like Pete and Patrick," Joe said.

"No!" Elisa said as she began running. "No!"

"Elisa!" I said as I ran after her, getting to her in seconds, then grabbing her and bringing her back by Joe. "Shh, it's going to be ok. Please, stay here with Joe while I go look around for Pete and Patrick."

"A-Alright," she said as Joe took her in his arms.

"Ok, I'll be back soon," I said.

"Andy," Joe said as he grabbed my wrist. "Please, please be careful."

"I will," I smiled.

And with that, I took off in the direction that Pete and Patrick had gone and where we had heard the screams. I ran through the trees, branches, rocks, and tall grass, tripping here and there. I didn't think the two of them went too far, but they were far enough away because the three of us couldn't see them looking for branches. After I ran for a good five minutes, getting farther than I had intended, I was getting worried.

"Pete! Patrick!" I shouted as loud as I could. "Hey! Are you guys over here?!"

No answer...

I yelled once more, and still no answer. Why did we think letting them go off by themselves was a good idea? Why didn't we just look for branches near where we all were?! God, we're all fucking stupid. Three of my best friends are missing and now one is dead... I don't need anymore shit happening, let alone does anyone else.

I called out for the two of them countless more times, knowing they wouldn't answer... After a while, I just stood in one spot and looked around. It felt as though my life was in slow motion and everything was spinning. After that, I collapsed to the ground and cried. They were gone, taken. Dead? Who knows anymore. They could be for all I know and it's my fault. I'm the one who let them go off by themselves when they should have just stayed near us and looked instead. If it weren't for me, they'd still be here. They'd still be trudging through the woods with the three of us.

But no.

It's too late now. They got taken.. Elisa is going to be heartbroken. I think her and Joe both know what happened, but it's not something that you can just get over and accept. Even when we find them, it's still going to be shocking that we all went through this. But that's the thing: we're going to find them. We're going to find them and Meagan. They're all going to be ok, and for whoever started this in the first place, they going to die. We will get our revenge. Our sweet, sweet revenge. Those assholes will not get away with what they've done. Not by any means.

I composed myself about five minutes after that and made my way back to Joe and Elisa. I walked incredibly slow, even though it probably wasn't the best choice. I had to get back to them so we could get Joe up and then make our way through the woods.

After a little while, I started running. I couldn't shake the feeling that someone or something was behind me. I looked back a few times and saw nobody, but there was still that eerie feeling... The feeling slowing started to consume me, and eventually, everything around me seemed to fade to black and fade to slow motion again. I was still running, that I know, but I couldn't hear anything else, see anything else besides what was in front of me, and I couldn't think. I just kept running, trying to get away from the feeling I had.

And that's when I heard Elisa scream and Joe yell.

I snapped out of it and the color seemed to come back to everything and everything seemed to go back into fast motion. I stopped and looked ahead of me. Elisa was fighting off someone and Joe was trying to help her as best he could. Whoever it was was wearing a mask, so I couldn't see their face. The person fought off Joe and grabbed Elisa, dragging her out of the woods. Joe tried to run after them, but collapsed from the pain in his leg, landing on the ground with a loud, piercing scream. That's when I started to run again. I ran past Joe and towards Elisa. The person was about fifteen feet from getting Elisa out of the woods. I ran to them and punched whoever it was, making them drop Elisa to the ground. She tried to scramble away, but the person I was fighting punched me square in my face, making me black out and fall to the ground. The last thing I saw was the person grabbing Elisa again and dragging her out of the woods. That's when it all went black.
