That was a close fucking call. Andy was literally seconds away from dying, but thank god Joe and I got back to Andy in time. He wasn't coming back to find us, and after about ten minutes, he and I started to get worried. We decided to quick look for some kind of weapon in a room, and the pistol is what we found. That's when we ran to Andy and saw him with the man on top of him, holding a knife to his neck. Everything was silent, then the gun shot filled the silence. Andy scrambled to his feet and attacked Joe with a hug.
Joe just saved his life.
Now that we got those two jackasses out of the way, we've got to continue our search for Patrick and Meagan. I'm glad we found Elisa, but I'm more worried about Meagan and Patrick, to be honest. It's my girlfriend and my best friend. The four of us continued down hallway after hallway. We looked in each room we passed, two inside the room looking, while two of us stood the other way and guarded their backs.
After looking for what seemed like hours on end, which I'm sure was only about twenty minutes or so, I was getting worried. Did they have the two of them in a different part of the building we hadn't yet been to? Were they even in this building?! I was so scared. I wasn't trying to show it though. Both Joe and Andy are good at sensing when I'm upset or scared or something. Elisa even is too. So I just kept running, trying to avoid the subject until we finally found them. If I'm feeling this way, I can't imagine how Elisa's feeling.
"This is the biggest fucking building I've ever been in," Andy said.
"Same here. It never ends, Jesus," Joe said.
"What if we can't find them?" Elisa stopped running.
She said what I've been thinking for the last half hour...
"Elisa, don't say that. We're going to find them and they're going to be ok. We can't think like that right now. We've just got to focus on the positive here, alright?" Andy said.
"I'm just so scared," she said as a single tear fell down her cheek.
"Elisa," I said with a saddened tone, then took her in my arms.
That's when she completely broke down. I couldn't help myself either, so I broke down as well. We were both feeling the same way, we both had out loved ones missing, and we're both scared shitless. There's not much we can do besides suck it up and try to find them, or cry. And you're a normal person, you're going to do what's easier; you're going to cry. Finding them seems hopeless.
"Listen to me, ok? We're going to find them. They're here, they're waiting for us, ok? We are going to find them. They're going to be fine, just a little scraped up. Everything will be ok, and after this is all said and done, these people will pay," I said.
"You're right," she said as she pulled away and wiped her eyes.
"Now lets put on our big kid pants and go look for them," I said.
"How is it that you can always make us laugh in a situation like this?" she asked as she laughed, as did Joe and Andy.
"It's a gift," I shrugged as I smiled. "Now lets do this."
And with that being said, we took off once again. After running for at least another ten minutes, we heard screaming and I instantly knew it was Patrick. That's when I took off, running way ahead of everyone. I had to get to my best friend. I looked back after a couple seconds and Elisa was running up behind me. She had to get to her husband and I to my best friend.
We both reached the door, seconds apart from each other, then looked in. I told her to stay down in case anyone was looking out the door. The last thing we wanted was to be seen by someone and risk not saving Patrick. Gladly, there was no one by the door, so the four of us came up with a plan. This plan involved Andy and Joe running in and either grabbing or distracting the people in there. Whichever one worked. Then after that, Elisa and I would run in and get Patrick out of there, off of the table, away from those terrible people, and to safety.
"You guys ready?" I asked.
"As ready as we'll ever be," Andy said.
"Open the door," Joe said.
And with that being said, I pulled the door open and Andy and Joe ran through it. Elisa and I trailed behind them about five seconds later. Once I got a full view of what they were doing to Patrick, I was fucking pissed. Elisa and I ran to Patrick's side and he was passed out. That literally must have just happened as we were running in or something. Anyway, with Andy and Joe distracting and fighting with the guards, Elisa and I untied Patrick from the table. Since he was out of it, there's no way he could walk, so that's when I called Joe. He rushed right over and helped Elisa get Patrick out of the room. The three guards that were in there tried to run after the three of them, but Andy and I somehow held them off.
After a little while, Andy looked at me and I nodded. He smirked, then punched one of the guards square in the face. He let out a little laugh, as if he was pleased with himself, then he did the same with the second guard. They both fell to the floor within seconds of each other, and that's when I took my shot at the guard I was fighting with. I kicked him in the stomach, punched him in the face a few times, then kicked him in the ankles, making his legs give out and him fall to the floor with a loud thud, instantly blacking out.
"Andy, you go and make sure Patrick is ok. I've got these three assholes now. Oh, and leave your knife," I said.
"Kill 'em dead, Pete," he smirked, then ran out of the room.
As he left the room, I turned my attention back to the three guards. One of them was starting to stir, but I definitely wasn't going to let that happen. Once he was fully awake, he started to try and come after me, but once again, not going to happen.
"Not so fast," I said. "You're going to tell me what you did to Patrick before I end you and your little friends."
"W-We," he talking in pain.
"Fucking talk, you worthless piece of shit!" I punched him in the stomach again.
"W-We raped him, a-and we b-beat him shi-shitless," the man said.
"And what the fuck gives you all the right to do that? He's my fucking best friend and if anyone does anything as lay a finger on them, I won't hesitate to kill them," I said.
"I-I di-" he started to say.
"I know, it wasn't your idea, but you know what? That still doesn't mean you have to go along with this shit! You could have killed him! And you know what else? I'm going to kill you, you worthless piece of shit," I said as I gripped Andy's knife in my hand.
I gave him one last smirk as he begged and pleaded. That only added fuel to the fire and made me want to kill him more. I told him to have fun in hell, then slit his throat with the knife. He fell to the ground seconds after and gasped his last breath. Eventually the other two woke up. I did the same as the first to another one, but first I asked who actually raped Patrick. The first one Andy knocked out fessed up, so I killed the second one first, driving the knife straight through his chest. After that, I stood up, walked over to the last one, then knelt down in front of him. He started backing away, which made me laugh.
"Oh, now you're scared? Now you have a problem?" I smirked.
"I, uhh," he said.
"What you did was terrible and you know it. Why shouldn't you pay for what you did? Any answer to that?" I said.
"N-No," he said.
"Then be prepared to meet your maker, you son of a bitch," I said as I stood up and hovered over him.
That's when it all came out. I let out all the anger I had, even some I didn't know I had, and took it all out on this guy. I was screaming and shouting as I stabbed the guy repeatedly in the chest, stomach, and neck. I didn't want to stop. I couldn't! There was blood flying everywhere, covering the wall, the two other guys, and myself. I could feel it dripping down my face, eventually landing on the floor.
After I was sure I had done a good enough job, and getting up and admiring my work, which ended in the guy looking like one giant, bloody mess on the floor, I stabbed him once more and left the knife deep in his skull. I spat on him, then walked away, grabbing another knife from the table and bringing it with me.
