A Living Hell (Fall Out Boy Fan Fiction)

Lets get down to Business (Patrick's POV)

"Who on earth do you think would have done this?" Andy asked as Joe, Pete, and I sat down by him and everyone else in the living room.
"Your guess is as good as mine, but when we fine them, they're going to wish they hadn't," Pete said as he stood up and started pacing around the living room.
"Well, whoever it was, they signed the note as ~C," Joe stated. "Do we know anyone that has a name starting with 'C'?"
"Well, there was Courtney at the diner," I said.
"I doubt it was her," Pete said. "I've known her forever and she's one of the sweetest people I know."
"She seems pretty nice, but it's a start, I suppose," Joe said. "Anyone else?"
"I honestly don't think so," Andy said. "What if this person is going under a code name or something like that? What if it doesn't even have anything to do with their actual name?"
"He's got a point," I said.
"I don't fucking care who it is, I just want them fucking dead for all I care! I will fucking kill them personally if I fucking have to! No one kidnaps the love of my life and gets away with it! When I find this person, they'll be sorry!" Pete said as he slammed his fist against the wall.
"Pete," Marie said as she got up and walked towards Pete. "We're going to find her, ok? I know this is all really scary for you, as it is for all of us, but everything will be ok in the end."

As she finished talking, she hugged Pete tightly. Pete hid his head in the crook of Marie's neck and I swear to god he started crying. I hate seeing Pete like this. There aren't many things that affect Pete this much, but this definitely is. Obviously. And he doesn't cry much, but when he does, I swear it breaks everyone's hearts.

"Everything will be ok," Marie said as he stroke Pete's hair.
"But what i-if it's no-not?" he asked.
"Pete, don't think like that," Elisa said.
"But honestly," he said. "What if this person is going to do terrible things to her? What if they're going to start taking each of us one by one until there's now one left? What if this person is planning to kill her or us?!"
"Pete, don't think about that right now," I said. "We have to stay positive. If we don't, then there's no way were going to find her. We can't think about the inevitable right now."
"He's got a point," Joe said. "Meagan will be fine. We're going to find her. Everything will be ok."
"I'm just so scared," Pete said as he lifted his head.

As he was staring at all of us, tears streamed down his face. I think the girls even started to cry, as did I. Seeing Pete like this is difficult for all of us, as I said before.
We are going to find Meagan. Everything will indeed be ok. Everything will turn out in the end. This isn't it. Pete and Meagan will be ok and whoever is doing this will regret it.
