needs are different than wants
almost like a flower and its vibrant colors
it's not mandatory
although it is a preference
many things are needed in life
essential things
shelter, food, and water
things that are wanted
love, attention, and respect
all of which are earned
for those fortunate enough
those flowers that got picked for their beauty
the sweet aroma pleasing to the nose
all of the wanted characteristics
those who did not please someone
left to wither and die
all this shall be applied to a cruel life
the needed is not wanted
the wanted is not needed
