Ch. 14 Please Let Me Explain

Trey Pov*

What have I done?! How could I be so stupid?! Why would I ever do that to Jordan?!

I woke up the next morning next to Abby in Natalie's bed. Nat was staring down at me angry.

Nat: Get up and help me clean up! My parents are coming home tonight! I need you're help!

Me: Sorry Nat. I can't do that. I have to go make things right with Jordan.

Nat: That's not a good idea... Sammy, Molly, Tori, and Karly are over there right now. More people are on their way. If you go over there, they are going to eat you alive.

Me (unbelievingly): No way.

Nat: I got a text asking me to come over. Supposedly they are trying to get a huge group of people to stop you from convincing her to come back to you.

Me: That's crazy!

Nat: Well, Jordan really really REALLY liked you, Trey. They are afraid that if you get a chance to talk to her, she might crawl back to you. They don't want you to hurt her again.

Me: I will never hurt her again!

Nat: Says the guy who slept with the girl that doesn't like her.

Me: She broke up with me... I guess while in my drunken stupor I wanted to get back at her for breaking up with me when I had nothing to get back at her for. I was the one who cheated on her with... YOU! Why did they ask you to come over?! Isn't she mad at you?!

Nat: Well... No... We did it on purpose... We all wanted to see if she could trust you.

I jumped out of the bed and got up in Natalie's face. She dropped her head and backed up. I backed her up into the wall and forced her to look at me.

Me: You set me up?!

Nat: It was for your own good. We did it to protect Jordan.

Me (sarcastically): You did it for Jordan! To protect her! It looks like all you have done is make me look like a total jerk and break Jordan's heart!

Nat: Trey, I'm really sorry, but Jordan asked me to do it. She told me after she actually left that she saw you go upstairs with Abby and that's what really broke her heart. You moved on so quickly! She thought you were going to fight for her! She thought that maybe since I got to you, you would make it up to her by winning her back somehow, but you screwed that up yourself! You can't be mad at me! you should be mad at yourself!

I stepped back. Natalie had a point, unfortunately, a very good point.

Nat: That's what I thought...

I ran downstairs and out to my car. I got in and started driving. I knew exactly where I was going. I didn't care that there were people there to stop me. If she even has people there to stop me then that means she can't trust herself with me meaning that I still have a chance to get her back.

When I arrived, I got out and slammed the door to my Bugatti.

Karly: I was wondering when you would show up!

Me: Shut up, Karly. I gotta see her!

Karly (stepping in my way right at the front door): Trey, you are the last person she wants to see.

Me: Yeah? That's because she knows I can talk her into coming back to me. Did you know about what Natalie did to me? She tempted my with sex, I took the bait, but she did it to see if Jordan could trust me. I have to see if Jordan really was behind the whole thing.

Just then a car pulled up and Connor (girl), Kara, Trisha, and Hannah jumped out and ran over to us.

Trisha: Trey! Get out of here!
