Trey Pov*
Me (walking out of the elevator into Brooke's room): Ready?
Brooke walked out of the bathroom. My mouth dropped. She looked stunning. She had on a simple white laced dress with a thin light brown belt. It came to her mid thigh. Her hair was in loose curls and her make-up was put on with perfection. The whole outfit was topped with sparkly silver high heels.
Me: Wow!
Brooke: You look wow yourself!
I had on a pair of khaki cargo shorts, a black bro tank, UK Jordans, and a white flat bill.
Me: Thanks! You ready to go?
Brooke (hooking my arm): Yep!
We had decided to go shopping on Rodeo Drive.
Brooke: Are you sure you wanna go shopping? We can do something else if you want.
Me: I'm fine. I kind of like shopping anyway.
Brooke: You are so different from any other guy.
Me: Thanks.
Brooke shook her head at me and laughed while we got into the elevator. I pressed 2.
Brooke: Trey... We're going to one.
Me: I know, but I'm gunna let Luke know we're leaving.
Brooke: Oh ok.
She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. The elevator door opened and revealed Luke and a girl in Luke's bed. Neither one of them stopped what they were doing.
Me (whispering in Brooke's ear): I think Luke is taken care of.
Brooke nodded and we went downstairs. We got into my Bugatti and drove off.
Brooke: So how do you like living here now?
Me: I'm getting used to it.
Brooke: So have you talked to any of your old friends since you've been here?
Me: No, why?
Brooke: Just wondering, because I know I text my best friend from College Station (A/N it's in Texas) every day.
Me: Well, I wasn't really friends with many of the guys in Florence.
Brooke: Really?! That's ridiculous! Everyone has a best friend that they have to talk to them about it all of the time!
Me: Well, I had a person that I told everything to...
Brooke: Then why haven't you talked to them here.
Me: Because she got pissed at me.
Brooke: Who is it?
Me: My cousin, Mackenzie.
Brooke: Oh... You did say that she was the best a giving advice.
Me: Yeah... I've tried to talk to her, but se hasn't answered any of my texts or calls.
Brooke: That's terrible. You would think she would at least give one message.
Me: I don't even know if she is still alive.
Brooke: You should ask her to just give you something so you know she is ok.
Me (glancing at Brooke, smirking): I will try that tomorrow. I don't want anything interrupting this date.
Brooke (smiling big): Sounds like a plan.
Me: Thanks, Brooke.
Brooke: No problem.
I parked the car in the parking garage and we made our down the street. We checked out a lot of the stores and had a great time. By the time we got back to the car we were both holding at least 4 bags and it was closing time for all of the stores.
Brooke: That was the best shopping spree I have ever been on!
Me: Please don't say we went on a shopping spree. I don't want to sound gay.
Brooke (looking at me with a mischievous grin): I thought you were gay... Shit... I had that all wrong...
I chuckled and she started laughing.
Brooke: I'm kidding. Ok. Then that was the best date I have ever been on.
I smiled at her, but inside, hearing those words just felt wrong. I don't know why, but when she said that I didn't feel right. When we got home we watched some movies. It was 11:30 at the moment. We were on the second movie. Suddenly I got an unexpected call. I looked down to see who was calling. It was...
