I Never Needed You

Y/n POV

*BAM*

My head bounced back from the stoplight and i could hear people ask me if i was okay. I rubbed my head and feel everything around me spinning. "Areum! Are you okay?!" I ignored Jungkook and tried to stabel my sight "You need to sit or-" "No go back to you lovely Nana... You care so much about her."

I tried to escape but Jungkook wrapped his arm around my waist and leaded me somewhere. I wasn't really fighting back because the headache was HELL.

He sitted me down and bowed in front of me "Areum, look what you just saw-" Why did you ignore me at Yoobin's party? Huh, Jungkook WHY?" My eyes getting teary as I looked at Jungkook. He sighed and then looked down "You know Areum. You're really a nice girl, no you are amazing and beautiful and everything what a boy want."

He looked up with cold eyes "But i don't need you."

My heart stopped. Everything around me stopped. "I realized that Nana is too important to me. I don't have feeling for you like i have for her." I looked in his eyes hoping that he was lying, hoping that he will say that it was a joke "I am sorry but i never needed you." The tears that i was holding rolled down. I looked at Jungkook speechless.

He stood up and turned around and there i saw her. The girl that stole my boyfriend... I stood up and took Jungkook's hand "No wait please. W-what have i done wrong?" " You have done nothing wrong Areum. I just don't need you."  I was breathing heavily as my sight got blurry "No no no no, please don't leave me, I love you!" I begged Jungkook but he shrugged it off and looked at me with disgust. My heart broke and my legs gave in as i fall on the ground looking at Jungkook with teary eyes. He looked at me so cold and then turned to Nana and wrapped his arm around her waist and walked away.

"No no, this can't be happening, this isn't real."  My tears flowed down my cheeks as i started to tremble " NO!" I cried out loud as i see Jungkook and Nana walking father away.

I shoot my eyes open, I was breathing heavily in a mask. When i looked around i saw all kind of machines. I looked at my hand and saw a needle in me. I slowely reached to my face and fell wetness. I then slowely touched my head and felt a bandage.

I breathed out 'It was just a dream.'

I could heard loud footsteps running in the hall "Here! This room! She suddendly-" Jungkook stopped at my door breathing heavily and looking at me wide eyed "Areum! You're awake?!" He run to my side and i saw a nurse coming in too. She checked the machine besides me and then turned to me "Are you feeling allright?"  I slowely nodded my head " Thats good but let me test you."

After she checked me to know for sure i was okay she said that i should rest and that she would come beck later for a double check up. She closed the door and left me and Jungkook alone.

The moment she left i felt two pair arms around me. Jungkook has his face in the crook of my neck and was sobbing softly "I-i was so scared. Suddenly your heartbeat started to go up and..." I rubbed his back and tried to calm him down "Sssh It's okay, i am okay." "I thought that I was going to lose you." He said while looking at me with teary eyes.

I giggled softly " My little bunny." i cared his cheeks and looked at him 'I missed him.'

"Have you ever heard someone die because she run with her head against a traffic light? No? Me neighter." i chuckled. Jungkook crooked out a laugh "I was just really scared, your heartbeat suddenly fasten and that damn machine-" He sighed "I am sorry, sorry for everythink. Starting with what happend at Yoobin's... I'm sorry." I bit my under lip and looked down. "Why did you ignored me?" i asked, not daring to look up, scared that my nightmare will come true.

"I was ashamed." Jungkook said it almost in a whisper "I didn't know that you were the one fighting with Nana... I thought that you walked back in with that Taeboy." My heart relieved a bit to hear that it wasn't like the answer in my dream but the heavy weight of one question was still eating me alive. "Jungkook? look at me." He slowely looked up with guilty eyes. "You would have saved me if you knew it was me, right?" I asked him, holding his hands with hope but it quickly faded away when Jungkook just looked at me with his mouth a bit open.

I breathed out and closed my eyes "Sorry princess but you know that-" "She can't swim... i get it..." I tried to give jungkook a smile but probably failed. "I think i should rest." I laid down in the bed. Jungkook covered me with the blanket and than kissed my forehead. He cares my hair and also tried to give me a smile but it looked sad. Really sad.

"Sweet dreams Princess, i love you."

Jungkook POV

When i closed the door behind me, i could feel the guilt hit me like a plane. My tears that i tried to hold in fell from my cheek. I slid on the ground with my head in my hand palms. 'I am sorry Areum.' I cried soflty as the guilt build up.

Next Morning

I woke up seeing Areum standing infront of me, giving me a small smile "We can leave." I looked around and than remembered that we were at the hospital "The doctor told me that everything was fine but..."

Areum stopped mid way and then turned to face me again. I started to worry " But? But what?" She gave me a smile "I need to rest more." I sighed in relief and then stood up. We walked out the hospital and waited for a taxi. "Are you sure that you're okay?" I asked because she didn't look really happy. "Yea i-i'm fine, just a little tired thats all." A taxi stopped infront of us and i helped Areum in. I was also about to go in but suddendly i got a incoming call from Nana.

I frowned knowing that it was a school day and that the classes started "I will be right back." I signal to the taxi driver to wait a bit and took the call.

Y/N POV

Jungkook turned around to take his phone "Is that your boyfriend?" The taxi driver asked "Ah nea." " You two look good toghether." The man told me and i slightly blushed "Thankyo-" "She what?!" I could hear Jungkook suddenly yelling at his phone "Where are- Okay i am on my way." Without saying anything Jungkook started to run away. "Wait Jungkook! aish." I stepped out he taxi and appologized for the cease. I quickly run the way Jungkook run off to and saw him entering the hospital again.

I followed him the hospital in and saw him stopping by the surgery room. I stopped in my track, trying to catch my breath and then i realised that Taehyung and a teacher stood next to Jungkook. I slowely walked to them "Areum!" Taehyung saw me and walked to me "What are you doing here?" I was still catching my breath as i looked at Jungkook talking to the teacher "What happened?" I asked Taehyung, ignoring his earlier question.

He sighed "Nana she overdosed herself with some pills at school." I builded my eyes " She what?! Why?" "I don't know. I only saw her laying on the ground with some pills in her hand." I was shocked for many reasons. First Nana tried to kill herself?! Second... Jungkook looked like his world just fell apart.
