Salty tears burn my eyes as I sink to the floor, my whole world has crashed down on my shoulders and I don't know if I can take it. With my palms sweaty and heart racing, I look up into his eyes and choke out "How are you out of french fries?!"

"I dedicate this song to you! The one who never sees the truth! That I could take away your hurt! Heartbreak giiiirl!" I sing loudly on the kitchen table as Charlie laughs along. James and the others were looking at me weirdly but I shake it off.
"I LOVE 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER!" Aphrodite and Sadie suddenly break out and start singing along to Heartbreak Girl by 5 Seconds Of Summer. This song is the best, listen to it and you'll be obsessed.

I jump along to the beat and turn up the speakers, my parents went out to get Chinese food for all of us. So it's just us.
"Is she always like this?" Zane asks Charlie, Charlie nods immediately and says "Yep."
Zane and Bates roll their eyes as James chuckles at the situation at hand.
"I bite my tongue, but I wanna scream out, you could be with me now, but I end up telling you what you want to hear!" Aphrodite, Sadie and I belt out to the song.
I could feel James' gaze burning holes in my body, I tried to shrug it off but I couldn't. I turn my head to him and wonder, why did he kidnap me? Can't he see that I'm happy when I'm home. Sure he hates it when Charlie and I get ten feet close to each other but this is my home. He expects me to just shrug it off?
"So, what time are we heading back?" Zane asks James, James glares at Zane and answers "I don't know."
Zane's lips turn into a thin line as he takes a step backwards as if he knew not to mess with James at the moment.
"Put on the song Never Be by 5sos!" Bates yells over the music, Sadie puts on the song.
"I need your love to light up this house, I wanna know what you're all about. I wanna feel you feel you tonight. I wanna tell you, that it's alright. I need your love, to guide me back home. When I'm with you, I'm never alone. I need to feel you feel you tonight. I need to tell you, that it's alright." I sing along to the lyrics, I love this song. And to be honest, I never knew Bates was into 5sos.
"You know, you're really good at singing." Sadie says suddenly, I look at her with a confused look. Charlie tells me that all the time but I never believed it.
"I told you." Charlie shrugs, James looks at me with pride and love. I don't know why, so what I'm kinda good at singing. Cool beans.
"We'll never be as young as we are now! It's time to leave this old black and white town! Let's seize the day! Let's run away! Don't let the colors fade to grey! We'll never be as young as we are now!" Bates belts out causing all of us to break out into fits of laughter.
I didn't know guys were into girly boy rock bands. Like a better version of One Direction, right? I guess guys can like 5sos too but I never expected a gang member to love 5sos. Whatever.
"Oh play I Don't Know by 5sos!!!" Sadie yells once the songs over.
The rest of the night we sang along to 5sos and ate Chinese Food, my parents looked curious about James since he was basically covered in piercings and tattoos but soon it vanished.
"Okay well we're gonna head back now." Aphrodite says leaning against Zane. Sadie was scolding Bates for some unknown reason, doesn't surprise me.
"Yeah, I'll see you guys later." I tell them.
"Uhm, no you're coming with us." James cuts in, all of us go silent. I'm going back? Can't he see that I'm happiest with my family and friends?
"James-" Sadie starts.
"No! Zane and Bates get to have their girls at the mansion but I don't? I'm the leader here, we take Gracie home."
"This is my home." I snap, a girl can only take so much. Any boys out there, here's some advise, don't mess with girls. You might think it's funny to get a reaction out of them but a lot of us take it seriously. We break too.
James clenches his jaw, glaring at the floor. Why does he keep acting possessive over me? I'm not his, I don't even know him.
Why is this so difficult? Why did he kidnap me? Why did he call me 'his girl'?
James looks at me deeply, his sea green eyes bore into mine causing chills to run up my spine. "Gracie, you're safer with me." James tries reason with me.
"I stayed here all my life, safe and sound." I cross my arms across my chest and pop my hip out with my eyebrow raised. He's being so unreasonable.
"Hey Gracie, sleepover tonight?" Charlie asks, staring at his phone as he walks in the room.
"Sure." I beam.
"No! No f*cking way!" James says loudly, quickly Sadie slaps her hand over his mouth to muffle his colorful words.
"Dude what's your problem?" Charlie asks with a small chuckle.
Big mistake.
James lunges forward, quickly I step in front of Charlie so he won't get hit. I watch as James fist comes crashing down, I flinch and holds my hands up in front of my face.
So you can see how confused I was when I didn't feel the blow.
I put my hands down slowly and look up at James. He looked frozen, his eyes staring into mine, his fist inches away from my face.
"I-I thought you'd hit me." I stutter out quietly.
"I'd never ever lay a finger on you angel, I'd rather kill myself then hurt you." James says, his eyes completely softened. I don't know why but his voice sounded so true. I believed him, I felt safe in that very moment.
"And you said we were whipped." Bates scoffs, rolling his eyes.
"Bates say that one more time and I'll hurt you so bad you won't be able to have children." James growls out, I giggle at the two with a small smile on my face.
"Grace, never step in front of me like that, I don't want you getting hurt." Charlie says from behind me, I turn around and nod even though I'd take a bullet for him.
