Lainey Blake
I run away from the T-Rex,accidentally trip myself and I fell on my face. The T-Rex's teeth is almost near me and open its mouth...

I jolt awake and breathing heavily. I cover my face and close my eyes.

It was only a nightmare. A nightmare that is worse than my experiences.

I saw Dad stretch his arms and open his eyes. "Lainey?" Dad grab my hands. "Are you okay?" I nod at him, resting my head on his head again. "Just stupid nightmare."

"Its okay Hon." Dad cooe. I observe around us and I remember that we're on a big tree, running away from dinosaurs escaping at the park. "Is it already morning?"

"I think so. Look the Sun is rising."

We watch the Sun slowly rise from the night and our clothes are dried but in a brown-ish colour. "We need to do our laundry when we are back home." Dad said and I giggle.

"You're awake up there?" Lex glance at our direction. "A bit." Lex nod and relax a bit. Suddenly we saw a Brachiosaurus head pops out of nowhere and bites on a branch. Lex backs up a bit and shriek, "Go away!" making Alan and Tim woke up from their slumber.

"Its okay its okay. Its not gonna hurt you." Alan said. "Veggie-saur Lex! a veggie-saur!" Tim exclaims, I laugh.

"The one that eats plants right?" Lex ask. "H-hmm." I nod. Alan grabs a branch full with leaves and hold it in front of the creature. The creature smell it and using its teeth, it bite off, making Alan almost lose his balance but he manages to gain his balance again and play tug-of-war as Alan trying to feed it. "You can touch it." Alan said to us. Tim quickly touch the dinosaur's face as me and Dad slowly climb down a bit and touch it.

"Wow. This is amazing." I whisper. "I know." Dad said, stroking its face. The four of us continue touching the dinosaur's face and Lex remains on her ground, clearly afraid. "Come on, Lex it won't bite you." I said to her. "Are you sure?" she ask. "Think of it as a big cow. You like cows right?"Alan said.  Lex shrug a bit. "Well I do like the cows." she lean over but the Brachiosaurus backs up a bit.

"Come on." Lex said to the dinosaur. When it almost touch Lex's hand, it sneezes at her. "God blessed you!" Tim said. Lex blink a few times, speechless. Both me and Dad cover our mouth from laughing at the poor girl.

Dad and Alan checks my foot after we climb down from our temporary shelter. Dad gingerly touch the bruise that's turning blue. I flinch a bit. "Sorry,Lain. Try stand up on your own and walk a bit."

I nod and hold on a tree and slowly,I was standing without any help and walk a bit though I limp after few steps. "Thank goodness you're okay." Alan sigh, Lex and Tim hug me tightly.

"We have to get going." Dad holds my hand, Alan lead the way like the other night with Lex and Tim following behind. At this point, all we can think about is we're alive.

"You're a nerd cause you always stick to your computer!" Tim said.

"That's because I'm a hacker! Not a nerd!" Lex defends herself.

"Yes you are!"

"Am not!"

"We literally got attacked by a T-Rex and now they're fighting? Kids." Dad chuckles. I wrap my arms around his arm. "Don't we always do?"

"Even so, we loved each other."

I look up at Dad and saw he's frowning. "Dad? Something wrong?"

"Alan stop."

"Why? Did he saw something?"

"Don't know. Better find out."

We walk to Alan, who is crouching down looking at the ground. "Alan, what is it?" Dad crouch next to him. "Eggshells. Dinosaur eggshells." I take one of it. Alan's right.
"But I thought grandpa said they don't lay their own eggs." Lex said. I jump a bit at their sudden appearance because they were messing around with each other before.

"During the tour, they explain to us that they use frog DNAs to fill in the sequence gap. West African bullfrogs are known to be able to change their sex in a single sex environment. Its not impossible if the dinosaurs be able to breed their own. Malcolm's right. Life finds a way." Alan said, smiling.

"Are we still far from the visitor center, Alan?" I ask him.

"About few miles from where we are don't worry we're gonna make it in one piece."

"I'm hungry and tired!" Tim groans.

We walk for hours until we arrive to an open green field. The field itself is pretty and absolutely have the incredible view. I wipe my sweaty forehead with the back of my hand as the heat from the sun make us feeling hungry, thirsty and hot.

"We're hungry and tired too, Timmy. But we're going to find food and rest later okay? We're almost there like Alan said." I send him a small smile.

"Look! There's something out there!" Dad point to a flock of dinosaurs. "What's the dinosaur's name, Timmy?" Alan ask him, encouraging him.

Tim tap his head a few times."It's a Galli-uh, Galli-uh, a Gallimimus!"

"Are those meatasaurus or veggie-saur?" Lex ask, worried.

"Omnivores. Means they ate both plants and meats." I answer. Dad pinch my cheeks. "Glad you're listening what I taught you." Dad grins. Alan took a step forward.

"They're moving in a flock. Like birds! This is amazing!" Alan watch the Gallimimus in amazed.

I saw they're moving towards our way. "Yeah, and they're flocking this way." Tim said, he and Lex backs up a bit.

All I can think is one word.

Run.
