Chapter 18

I woke in a hospital room, I assumed.

The bright lights proved so.

I looked over to see Adrian.

I frowned, how could he do that to me?

"Get out." I said.

I didn't care that o was in the hospital, I wanted him gone.

"Jessie, please. You're sick." He said rushing to me.

"What?"

"You are sick, that's why you passed out. You don't have enough nutrients in your body, your body just sort of shut down. Apparently, you lied to me. You weren't eating like you said you were." He said looking at the floor, clearly disappointed. Ouch, another jab in my gut.

I couldn't help it, o was too fat, everyone said so.

"You'll be in the hospital for a while, they need to monitor you and make sure you're getting all of the nutrients you need, and I'll be here."

"Why don't you just go with that dumb girl we met, I'm sure you won't have to worry about her." I said, trying to get him to leave.

"I- I made a mistake, forgive me.. please. I love you.... I don't know what I was thinking.....I wasn't thinking." He said walking closer to the hospital bed.

I wanted him to leave.

I love him.

Her hurt me.

"You didn't make a mistake. You were thinking. About her. You're only here now because I'm sick. Please, just go." I said.

"But you need me, I need-"

"If you love me, you will just leave!" I yelled weakly.

"I-" he stared before cutting himself off, and walking out of the room.

Tears flowed down my cheeks, where will I go? 

I should've taken more pills.

I should've locked my door and window.

I wish Adrian never found me.

Because if he didn't.

I would be dead.

A/N: Omg this chapter is SUPER short but it's kinda a filler because I have things planned, BIG things 😏😏 hut I keep getting a lot of comments that this book is over?? Nope. This book is NOT over and won't be over for a long time. I enjoy this book, a lot. I hope you guys are too!
