I walked in haden's recovery room he looked as if he was sleeping just laying he was hooked up to IV and oxygen and that was all . I sit down in the chair beside his bed and rubbed his head i wanted him to wake up it was my fault he was laying their anyway i was suppose to run after that ball i was suppose to put my life before his .I grabbed his hand and squezed it i didn't get a reponse Nicole walked in and said "he will wake up soon sweetheart he will". i told her "i will stay here till he does" it had now been 2 days since the accident and my sweet love still had not opened his eyes i sit with him and rubbed his hand and squezed it and a lot of tears were shed i wanted him to be okay . 5 days after the accident my sweet love wasn't awake he was just still . I almost felt as if i only got 5 good days with him i had been dating him for 10 days i was by his side through this ordeal . I wouldn't go home would eat and contuie to hold his hand until he woke up . 8 days after the accident was the magic day . I was holding his hand tight i felt a realease i smiled and i looked at him and he opened his eyes .I said "hey sweetie do you remember me" a tear ran down my eye as he said this "my sweet love ". I kissed his hand and said "how are u feeling". He held up his hands and begin signing. He smiled "i am fine perfectly fine". He said "you love me don't u" i took my hand away from his and signed i do love you very much". He said "i love u to sweetie". He said "uh what happend " i said "u were on the beach chasing after a volleyball and you got hit". He said "how long ago was it ". I said "8 days ago sweetie ". He said "your vacations half over and i haven't even took u out on our 2nd date". I said "i am not leaving i am staying with u". He smiled and i kissed him on the forehead . I felt as if our life together had started .
