Chapter 2: Home Sweet Home

Omniscient's P.O.V

Hiccup & Toothless arrived early in Berk noticing that Berk is empty. He checked Astrid's house to see if she is in there but it seems like she's gone as well, even Stormfly or the other vikings.

"Where is everyone?" Hiccup asked himself.

Then Hiccup heard a  loud noise by the Great Hall, giving him a hint where everyone is. He passed each house and went to the Great Hall and it seems dark, no torches were lit, no noise could be heard, nothing is there. He turned around to face the village while standing in front of the tall doors of the Great Hall.

"Welcome back, Hiccup!" Voices came from behind and soon light has spread quickly around the hall. 

Hiccup got shocked from the welcoming back thing for him and Toothless. Astrid ran in front of the boy and stole a kiss from him then immediately followed with a punch in the shoulder as Astrid would always do when he arrives from his trips. The night is still young and the party is not over, Hiccup turned back and went home to rest from all those exhausting stuff that he's been through for that week.

"Come on Bud, let's go home.' Hiccup told Toothless.

"Wait! Aren't you gonna join us?" Astrid asked.

"Sorry Astrid, I'm very tired now, I'll pass for now." Hiccup would then answer with sleepy eyes.

The party was for him but he wasn't even there! Yet, these are vikings. They don't enjoy just because they celebrate. They can celebrate anytime, anywhere and whenever they want! 

When Hiccup arrived at his house, he first gave Toothless a basket of fish for dinner before sleeping then Hiccup climbed up to his room after feeding Toothless. He grabbed some pillows and blanket for him to be comfortable in bed while Toothless made a circle of fire in his rock nest to keep him warm. 

It wasn't long enough  have past, Hiccup stood up, unknowingly with half opened eyes and seeing a girl waving at her. His vision was blur but he sensed who it could probably be.

"A-Astrid?" Then he would open his eyes wide to clear his vision and sat straight on his bed to see Astrid looking at him. 

"Astrid? What are you doing here?" I said but she was completely silent and Toothless was still asleep. When Hiccup is thinking so deep, Astrid hitted him with a pillow that knocked him to his real self and away from the good o' dream world.

"Ouch! Astrid stop."He exclaimed.

Astrid stopped herself from throwing the pillow and ended up laughing. She had a sight of the viking to defeat the Red Death defenseless against a woman with a pillow! 

"So do you want a exercise again?" She asked him happily like she had a surprise.

"Well, okay." He replied when he recovered. "You could've just told me earlier that you wanted this!"

Then they both went down as he woke Toothless up so he can get someone on to ride. When we reached the door, he saw Stormfly's face is little down and has no idea why but it must be personal thing or she might just be hungry! Hiccup won't even bother going with that. When they flew on the skies, he had a clear view of Astrid's face being hit by the air and her eyes sparkled with the reflection of the rising sun like it's something of his weakness that made him weak.

The two riders continued flying until they had reached the shores of a beach just near Berk. They landed there to watch the sunrise together with the two dragons. Hiccup was going to ask her something here but he's not sure and don't know just when.
