Chapter 25

Zayn's POV

I was in the last five minutes of English class and I could barely sit still! Today was Friday and I was having a sleepover with Ed, Ron, Greg, and Rich at Ed's house.

"Okay class, I would like you to complete exercise 2 page 12 in your vocabulary book for Monday, other than that have a fantastic weekend and I will see you all Monday! And if you have not gotten all of your school supplies please try to get that this weekend," Mr.C said.

I quickly wrote my homework down in my agenda and then put all of my stuff away just in time for the bell to ring.

"Excited for tonight Zayn? We're gonna have so much fun, my mom is ordering pizza and getting ice cream!" Ed said walking out the door with me.

"I'm so excited, thanks for inviting me," I said shyly.

"Well of course you were invited, you're part of the group, you're invited every Friday night when we hang out."

I smiled up at him and he ruffled my hair as we walked to the front of the building.

"What time should I come to your house?" I asked.

"Right after you grab your stuff at home you can come over."

"Ok! I'll see you soon then!" I waved making my way towards papa's car.

"Bye Zee!"

I ran over to where Papa was standing outside the car and threw myself into his arms.

"Hi bubba, did you have a fun day?"

"It was kinda boring, but I have a sleepover tonight!" I said cuddling into his neck as he held me on his hip.

"I know, daddy was packing your bag today, what time are you going over?"

"Ed said to go over as soon as I'm ready Papa!" I exclaimed as Papa set me down in the backseat of the car.

"Alright lovey, I want you to have a some what healthy snack at home before you go though because I know you will be eating junk all night."

I giggled and talked with Papa about all of the fun things that we were going to do as we made our way home. I saw that daddy's car was in the driveway so I ran out of the car and into the house where daddy was sitting at the kitchen table texting on his phone.

"Daddy!" I cheered as I ran over.

"Hi baby boy, how was school?" He asked lifting me up.

"It was okay! Papa said you packed my bag today!"

"I did, you're all set to go!"

"Ed said to come over when I'm all ready but papa wants me to have a healthy snack first because we're going to be eating junk all night," I giggled.

Daddy chuckled then let me down and I put my backpack on a hook in the closet, I sat down at the island and papa placed carrot sticks and ranch dressing in front of me.

"I'm all done Papa!"

"Ok babe, go get your bag upstairs and me and daddy will drop you off!"

I grinned and ran upstairs bumping into Uncle Liam on the way.

"Woah, someone's excited!"

"I'm so excited Uncle Li!" I called out behind me as I continued running.

I got to my room to find an overnight bag sitting on my bed all packed with my pillow on top of it. I grabbed it when I remembered that I would be sleeping over for the night without daddy and papa and my uncles. I was so excited to be with my friends that I forgot about that minor detail. I made my way downstairs with my bag slowly and daddy smiled.
