"Should we go find her? She did seem kinda off since we got here." Tyler told the group, a bit worried about her.Tyler was still a bit confused as to how he wasn't told that he had a girlfriend before. He remembered asking Zack before, and he didn't know. Was this a lie? Why didn't anyone tell him?
"She probably just went to her house to finish that final project." Nick told Tyler, and everyone else nodded.
"I should go as well." Debby said. "Help her maybe, she does seem a bit stressed."
Everyone nodded in agreement. She was finally going to leave and not spill anything else that might make Tyler question about that night. Josh really liked her, but he was glad they were not at risk anymore.
"Bye." Debby waved and proceeded to kiss Josh before grabbing her purse and walking out of the club.
After Debby left, Josh, Nick, Tyler and Zack stayed and talked about what people often talk about when they're trying to find out about each other while they enjoyed the music being played in the background.
Debby went to where she said she was going to go. She hoped to reach Jenna before she arrived at her house to talk to her. Debby may not know about the group's big secret since she wasn't even part of the group in the first place, but she did sense that something was wrong with her friend Jenna. Not knowing what else to do, she was going to ask her what was wrong. Jenna didn't even tell her about her break up with Tyler, so there was definitely something wrong.
Debby assumed she was already inside her house since she didn't see her on the way there. She rang the doorbell of her house and hoped that she would answer. When she didn't answer after a few moments, she checked if the door was open. It was.
"Hello? Jenna?" Debby called knocking on the door slightly, but no answer. "Jenna, it's Debby." She walked inside already knowing where to go, closing the door behind her. This was not her first time at Jenna's house. There was definitely someone inside since the door was left unlocked.
"Jenna?" Debby called for her once again, but still no answer. She walked across the entrance and up the stairs to her room. Maybe she's in there.
"Hello?" Debby opened the door to Jenna's room. Jenna was there sitting on the side of her bed with smudged mascara under her eyes. It was obvious that she had been crying.
"Jenna, what's wrong?" Debby walked closer. She put an arm around her, trying to comfort her.
"Nothing." Jenna lied, drying up the tears running down her cheeks with her sleeve.
"There's clearly something wrong if you're crying." Debby told her, hugging her.
"I don't want to talk about it." Jenna had ran out of energy to hug back.
"Jenna, please tell me." Debby faced her. "You've been this way for several days now. The secrecy, the quietness, I know something is wrong. Let me help you, I'll do anything." Debby tried to get Jenna to tell her something. Debby felt left out by everyone. It was as if people knew things she didn't, and it made her feel left out. She was right though, they knew something she didn't.
"Can you keep secrets?" Jenna asked her after a moment of silence.
"Your secret's safe with me. Always."
