Before Tyler went to school, he decided to take the stack of photos he had inside his closet and put them inside his backpack just in case. He needed to know where exactly those pictures were taken. Any information about his life helps.Zack had to be at school early for a meeting for one of the school clubs he's in, so Tyler walked to school alone. As he did, he took the pictures of the trees out of his light blue backpack to compare them to the trees surrounding him. He still didn't know who took them, since he didn't have a camera. He just assumed he didn't have a camera because he couldn't find one.
Tyler came across the second path halfway to the school, where Zack told him there was an abandoned treehouse. The trees in the picture looked exactly the same as the trees beside the path on the left side. Tyler checked his watch, it was only 7:15am. Since he was still early, he decided to take the path on the left to check things out. Tyler assumed that if he's been there before, maybe there's clues about his life or something that might make him remember.
He walked straight forward looking around everywhere. He started wondering if this treehouse was somewhere else since he couldn't find one. Even so, Tyler kept walking. The slight breeze felt nice against his face along with all the tall green trees. The forest was quiet and relaxing, stress free. For a moment, all of Tyler's worries faded away and he focused on the smell of the tree leaves recently washed by the rain.
After a few minutes of walking straight forward, Tyler gave up. There was no treehouse here.
He started to walk back, a bit disappointed. He hoped he could remember where it was without awkwardly asking what were random strangers to him. It made him anxious.
After a moment of thinking where this treehouse could be, he heard a twig snap in the silent atmosphere making him turn around in panic.
He wasn't alone.
"Who's there?" Tyler asked anxiously, looking around. There was nobody around. He assumed it was just a bird, he was in the forest on a nice day after all.
Starting to get rid of his thoughts, something hard hit the ground crushing the dead leaves off the trail, making him turn around again. Then, he heard someone groan in pain.
"What the hell." Tyler thought. What hit the ground wasn't something, it was someone.
"Tyler! What brings you around here?" He asked, still on the ground.
"Josh, are you okay?" Tyler asked, jogging closer to him when he realized who it was. "You scared me for a second."
"Yeah, I just jumped off a tree when I probably shouldn't have." Josh laughed it off. Tyler helped him up by giving him a hand and lifting him up, using their not-broken arms.
"Are you hurt?" Tyler asked.
"Just this broken arm. I was hoping I would still be able to climb trees with a broken arm. Guess not." Josh sighed. "What brings you here?"
"Nothing, just walking." Tyler said as he analyzed his surroundings.
"School isn't this way."
"I know, I just- I don't know. I was looking for something but I guess it's not here." Tyler admitted.
"Did you drop something?" Josh started looking down around the ground they were on.
