Queen beneath Fili

A Farewell and Spiders

The next morning you all woke up and ate. Beorn lent you all ponies to get you to Mirkwood, but you could not keep them. This saddened you because you missed Wind. She had gotten away from the Trolls, but you didn't know if she was alive or where she was. You set off.

"What's wrong Lady Ledia?" Inquired bilbo who rode next to you.

"It's nothing, I just miss wind."

He nods understanding. Fili looks at you and gives you a reassuring grin.

You see Mirkwood coming closer and closer. You remembered what Beorn said about this place. You were scared, which wasn't like you. You all got there and let the ponies go. Gandalf said he wouldn't be going with you.

"What? You can't just leave us." You say

"You will all be ok. I expect you to be their rock. I know your scared, but you are wise and must lead them in the right direction."

You exhale is frustration. Fili grabs you and pulls you close. He begins to talk you reassuringly but you aren't listening. You see Gandalf and Bilbo speaking. Bilbo has his hand in his pocket. I did that a lot for some weird reason. It didn't look like a natural position. You brushed it off as Gandalf rode off.

Thorin lead the way. You walked between Kili and Fili. Fili in front of you holding your hand. You walked what seemed for ages. You were dizzy and you were hearing things. You began to hum to yourself, it helped. All of a sudden, someone realized you weren't on the trail anymore. You all began to look frantically for the trail. You looked for a long time, but found nothing. You leaned back on a tree and felt something sticky.

"What the..." But before you could finish a giant spider grabbed you. Everyone removed their swords. You reached for your dagger strapped to your inner thigh. Just as you stabbed the spider, it bit you. You yelped and it fell dead. More spider emerged around you. Fili ran to your side as you collapsed. You looked up at him and he became blurry. You heard him screaming your name before putting you down to fight the spiders away from you. You could no longer see, but you felt a body fall with a thud next to you. You were both being dragged then you were completely knocked out.
