I See Fire

Your P.O.V. (Ledia)
"We will follow him in."
"Why?"
"Because he still had greed in his eyes when he left. He won't let Bilbo out without the Arkenstone. He will let them both burn before he leaves without it."
They all follow you with no more questions asked. You lead the way, feeling like the queen you will become. You all run in. Smaug is huge and beautiful. He says,
"You will BURN." As he makes his way towards you. You all jump down to avoid his flames. You follow Thorin down the twisting hallways.

Fili's P.O.V.
We follow the she elfs instructions. We clear the table and lay Kili across it. It takes all of us to hold him down. He is screaming. The she elf begins to chant in Elfish. Kili begins to calm. We all look at her amazed. She looks as him as she continues.

Your P.O.V. (Ledia)
We lost the dragon, but we kept quiet. Thorin lead us down to the west wing. We all walked slowly. We all stopped when we heard a coin drop. We all look around, then up. Smaug was right above us, but passed us. We slowly continued until he was out of sight. Then we ran. We came to a dead end. There was no way out.
"We could try the mines. That could last a few days." Balin said with a sad tone and you looked apon the last of your kins dead bodies lying in a heap.
"No." Thorin said. "I will not die like this. We make for the forges."
"He will see us. Sure as death." Dwalin says.
"Not if we split up" Thorin answers
"Thorin. We'll never make it" Balin says.
"Some of us might. Lead him to the forges. We kill the dragon. If this is to end in fire, then we will all burn together." You all agree and group up.
"This way" Thorin calls out to you, Bilbo, and Balin.
"Flee. Flee! Run for your lives. There is no where to hide." Smaug come at you. Just then. Another group yells, distracting him. You all run while taking turns distracting him. In frustration she spits fire. You all run to the forges. Thorin runs to far and bilbo calls him back. Smaug comes around the corner. You grab bilbo and pull him to safety. Smaug blows his fire and you watch Thorin jump. You all end up at the forges. Thorin runs in.
"The iron is to cold. It will never heat in time."
You look at Thorin with a huge smile on your face.
"What is it?"
Then his face expression changes from confused to excited.
"Have we not?" He smiled back and you nod quickly.
Thorin begins to trash talk Smaug.
"Take cover" you all run against the pillars as Smaug blown fire at the iron furnaces. They all begin to light. You laugh. This is the most fun you have had in years. Thorin yells directions at everyone. Smaug breaks though the iron gate. Thorin yells, "NOW!" Bilbo pulls the lever and water comes pouring in. It turns everything. You see the forges coming to life before your eyes. You all take bombs Balin made and throw them at Smaug. You look down and there are rivers of melted gold flowing.
"Lead him to the gallery of the kings." You all run in different directions. You meet in the gallery at directed. Smaug breaks though the wall into the gallery. You run in through where Smaug broke though as Thorin yells at Smaug. "HERE!"
Smaug stops and turns.
"You" he said in his deep, rumbling voice.
"I'm taking back what you stole." Thorin says to him.
"You will take nothing from me dwarf. I laid low, your warriors of old. I instilled terror in the hearts of men. I am king under the mountain." Smaug came closer and closer to Thorin until face to face.
"This is not your kingdom. These are dwarf lands. This is dwarf gold. And we will have our revenge." Then all the dwarfs pulled on chains. It fell to pieces and under was a giant gold statue of a past king. Smaug looked at it in awe, but it was not solid. The hot, melted gold flowed and swallowed Smaug. The gold looked like a beautiful river, calm. All if a sudden Smaug jumped out of it. Yelling.
"I WILL SHOW YOU REVENGE" he yelled as he ran out of the gallery. He broke out of the entrance of the mountain. You ran after him. As you made it to the opening. He was spiraling up, shaking the gold off of him. He flew towards lake town.
You ran out then stopped. You heard the echo of Smaug saying
"I am fire. I. Am. Death."
Bilbo runs next to you and whispers.
"What have we done?"
You stand there stunned. Tears rolling down your cheeks. For the first time in forever. You begin to sing:

Oh misty eye of the mountain below,

Keep careful watch of my brothers souls,

And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke,

Keep careful watch if durin's sons.

I suggest you listen to this song (I see fire by Ed Sheeran, cry, eat ice cream, and repeat. That's what I'm doing) I won't be updating until the last part of the movie comes out. This is going to kill me more than it's going to kill you, trust me. In the mean while, read my LOTR Frodo fanfic. It's called "Lord of my Heart" I hope you have liked this.
