Chapter 3

Finally gym class! I have been waiting for it all day! I get into the change room and I know that all my friends have this class with me. I took the black t-shirt and grey shorts that we're in my locker and I brought them to gym class. I found a locker to put them in. I change and shove my other clothes inside. Christina, Mar and Lynn are also changing. We start to talk. Once we finish changing ,we head out to the Gym, then we go out to the field.

Will joins us. Soon our gym teacher comes out.

"Hello, I am your gym coach Mr. Anderson! This is gym class not socializing class!" he says looking at Lauren and Nita "Now everyone give me 5 laps. GO! GO! GO!" he says. I run with the girls at my side.

We finish our laps and we wait for the slow people. "Slow! Everyone needs to run faster! Anyway since the soccer season is starting, we are going to be playing a game of soccer. Mmmm.. Four, Eric team captains." They walk forward and face each other.

I take a good look at my class and I now realize, Matthew and the all populars are in this class.

Soccer is actually my favourite sport. Tobias knows it, we played when we were younger. I wouldn't be surprised if he chose me.

"Chose first" Four says.

"Edward"

"Tris" Four says. Not surprised at all. Lauren and Nita's jaws drop.

They finally pick the teams and here they are.

Four:

Zeke, Uriah,Lynn, Marlene, Will, Christina, Shauna, Matthew, Lauren, Adrianna, Brooke, Cameron, Paisley and I

Eric:

Edward, Peter, Myra, Molly, Nita, Drew, Al, Emily, Vanessa, James, Steve and Jennie

Surprise Lauren and Nita! He chose Lauren 2 after me. She was an okay soccer player, I'm a lot better.

The game begins. Tobias is doing a face off with Eric. The ball drops and Tobias gets it. He dribbles it and then passes to me when I am open. I dribble it past Molly and kick and I score a goal on Peter! All my team mates high five me.

Once the game is done the score is 5-0! I scored 4 of those goals. My team high fives each other.

"Nice job Tris." Tobias says.

"Thanks, You too." I say

"Tris you were great!" Chris says.

"Thanks" I says "You were so good like, always" Lynn says giving me a high five.

"Right back at-" I say while getting cut off.

"Prior! Over here now" Coach says

"See you later guys." I say

I walk to the Coach.

"Yeah coach?" I ask

"Prior, are you trying out for the team? Because you have the soccer skills!" he says

"Yeah I am . Thanks. So you think I'll make the team?"

"Not only make the team, you will be Captain if you play with those skills. Prior, try outs for the girls soccer team are next week on tuesday after school.

"Thanks Coach!" I say smiling. I walk back to the change room and my friends come up to me.

"What was that all about?!" Christina asks.

"Oh he just asked if I was trying out for the soccer team" I said.

"Well no wonder you're a natural." Lynn says.

"Yeah, I suck at it!" Marlene says.

"Me too. Mar and I are just going to stick with cheerleading. You can go play soccer. " Christina says and Marlene nods her head.

Once we finish changing I head to my locker with the girls just to hang and wait for the final bell.

"So Tris how's Matthew." Marlene says wriggling her eyebrows.

"I got his number." I say smiling.

"Are you for real? Pass!" Christina says.

"Why didn't you ask for his number before!" Lynn says.

I pass Christina the paper

"I didn't ask. He gave it to me in drama class. He ju-" I say before I get cut off. Someone pushed me

I look around to try to find out who shoved me. It was Four. Four is making out with Lauren. He is pressing her against the lockers and her legs are wrapped around his torso. He probably pushed me by accident while getting on those lockers.

The final bell rings.

"Let's go. Nothing to see here." I say. We walk away and Lynn steps on Four's toes, just because shes Lynn.

I soon hear Four groan in pain -not to loud though - I then hear him drop Lauren. Then Lauren yelling at Four asking him why he dropped her.

The girls pile in Christina's car and we head over to the mall.

"Okay let's go to Starbucks first I need a drink!" Marlene says.

We head to Starbucks and I order a tall (small) caramel frappicino.

Then we start to shop.

"Where do you guys want to shop first?" Christina says.

"I'm going to hot topic." I say

"I'm coming with you!" Lynn says.

"Okay let's go!" Christina says.
