Chapter 6

"Hello students!" The principal says on the PA.

"I have a very important announcement! I know we should have told you this in the summer but we were not able to. The big announcement is that........ we have finally finished building 'Divergent High.... Boarding School' . Making a boarding school has been a goal of ours for 2 years now. We finished building and testing it out on the first day back. The boarding school is only 5 mins away from here. Do not worry all your classes and extra activities will be the same. We will be handing out the room numbers to classes and dorm numbers. The move will be next Wednesday. I have contacted you're parents and they have all said yes, better start packing! Don't forget you get to pick your roommate or roommates. Each dorm is allowed 3 and every 2 rooms connect. If you have any questions please feel free to visit the office."

"Roommates!!!!!" Christina says to me.

"Defiantly!!" I say " We can all be roommates because of the connecting doors!!"

We all sequel in excitement! Wow! I am going to boarding school!

"Wait what am I supposed to do?" Will says.

"Room with Al" Lynn says.

"This is going to be like PCA from Zoey 101!!" Marlene says

"Everyone excited? I'm going too!" Tori says

The whole class hollers!!

I'm sitting in 3rd period with the girls and Will. Today is Zeke's party at Lynn's place, it's also auditions for the After school we are going straight to Lynn's house. Christina already has her stuff packed in her car. She told me and Mar to bring just clothes. So I just brought a dress.

We're in Drama and Tori is letting us practice for our auditions.

"How do you all feel about heading to The Pit later? Before the party Shauna says I should come and you guys should come too "

"Sure!" Mar says

"Yeah, I'm in the mood for some beautiful Pit food!!" Christina says.

We laugh. We decide to all go to The Pit later because no one can turn that down! If you don't know The Pit is this amazing restaurant with awesome food! Especially the cake! We hang out at the Pit all the time. Sometimes people in there take on the "Dauntless" challenges. It's sometimes a competition see who is the most brave.

The bell rings.

"Okay so everyone who is coming to audition please follow me. Everyone else, have a great weekend" she says.

The class separates. The part of the class auditioning follows Tori into the stage. Once we get to the auditorium doors people are already lined up. We're not allowed to go in without teacher supervision and plus it's locked.

"I am so excited!" I hear some girls say behind me.

Tori opens the door "Okay now everyone sit please!"

She walks up to the stage. "Welcome to the fall production auditions. This year's production will be Cinderella. " She keeps talking but I stop listening.

I looks and see everyone who is auditioning. I turn around and see Four, Zeke, Uriah, Lauren, Nita and Shauna. I also notice Matthew near the front.

I turn around to talk to the boys.

"What are you guys doing here?" I whisper

"What are you guys doing here?" Uriah say trying to imitate me. I give him an evil glare.

"What? I'm practising, genius!!!" He says sticking his tongue out

"Were here to watch all the hot gir- " Four and Zeke say then look at each other . "I mean audition" Zeke says we get extra credit if we are on cast or crew." Four says saving. Both boys hoping their girlfriends didn't hear.

"Nice save losers! But if you three were on either cast or crew I know you would screw everything up!" I say

I roll my eyes and turn my attention to Tori.

"Now can everyone please stand up and head on over to the stage." Tori says

I walk with Christina by my side. Suddenly a girl shoves me with her shoulder.

"What did you do to Riley?" Christina whispers in my ear.

Riley, Lauren's younger sister whose my age. She's a total replica of Lauren. She's real cocky too. Well I guess it runs in her family. She has long wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. Honestly we could be mistaken as sisters. Today she's wearing a tight Superman crop top and high waisted black shorts.

"Nothing!" I say.

We get on the stage.Tori told us to say our names show she can write them down. After that she calls everyone two by two, boy and girl, to read a part and sing a song. It is going to be along time till she calls my name. I wait in the auditorium chairs with my friends while I watch all ther performances. I watch Christina go up with Will, Marlene go with Uriah, Lynn go with Al, Zeke go with Shauna, Four go with Lauren and a bunch of other people.

The auditions were simple, they sang a duet from Cinderella called "This is love".

"Now can I have Tris and Matthew?" Tori calls.

Christina wriggles her eyebrows. I roll my eyes and playfully push her. I stand up and walk to the stage.

"You've seen enough auditions to know what to do" Tori says.

I take the lyrics sheet and start to sing as the music starts.

Matthew soon joins in

School is now over.

"Finally!! Now we can get our party on!!!" Christina says

"Wahoo!" All the girls scream!

"Yay" Will says sheepishly

"Okay, We shouldn't ride with each other because we all have our clothes." I say.

"True. " Chris says.

"Okay I need to ride with Shauna cause she drove me here." Lynn says.

"Wait I need a ride" Will says "Cara has some Senior science club."

"I'll take you" Christina says

"Okay see you guys in a few minuets! Race?" I ask

"You're on" Mar and Chris says.

"Man if I wasn't riding with Shauna I would so win!" Lynn says

She walks another way while we walk to our cars which are parked close to each other.

I get in and I 3 way call the girls so we know when to start.

"Okay 3,2,1!" Marlene says

Our cars get out of the parking lot and bolt out.

Slow down Christina!" I hear Will say over the phone.

We turn right and drive. Of course we're racing under the speed limit. We get to our first stop light near some malls. All our cars jerk to a stop. So far Marlene and Christina are behind me.
