Chapter 5

My alarm clock isn't shutting up. Die alarm clock die! I finally am able to open my eyes and I reach for my phone. I look through social media until I feel like getting up.

I make my bed then head to my closet. I eventually pick out black leggings, a grey and black crop top that has the number 27 and I'm wearing a white tank top underneath. I make my way over to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I then comb my hair and put it in a low ponytail. I also apply the slightest amount of mascara.

I take my phone and bag down stairs with me. I go to the kitchen and grab an apple.

"Morning mom, wheres dad?" I ask. I already know Caleb left for school.

"Oh he had an early morning meeting." she says.

"Oh okay. Well I'm going to go to school now."

"Wait before you go I need to talk to you about something." My mother says calling me back .

I stand in front of the kitchen counter facing my mom on the other side.

"Yesterday, you and Tobias we're outside yesterday. I was wondering if you had a thing for him?" She says smirking.

"Mother!" I cry

"What I was just wondering. You did almost kiss him." she says

"Wait! How did you see that?"

"I was watching" She says

Oh so my mom saw too!

"Really mom? Well, I have no feelings towards him whatsoever towards him and I don't think I ever will!"

"I am just saying you two are cute together. You could have a change of heart for him!" she says

"Bye, Mom" I walk out the door and get in my car. I drive to school listening to music on the radio.

I park my car in the parking lot and exit my car with my backpack. I walk in and head to my locker hoping Four isn't there. I really didn't want to see him after what happened yesterday. Good he isn't there! I have 20 minuets till class begins so I decorate my locker a little. I put in my black locker shelves and locker bins. I even bring some locker essentials, magnets and pictures of me, my friends, family, my soccer team etc

Soon enough Four comes.Yay! Can't you tell this isn't sarcasm? This time he is alone. That's good I do not want to deal with the sound of them making out.

The day was slow. Science,boring. History boring, who wants to learn about old dead people. Drama, was fun! In class we learned that the fall production was going to be Cinderella and auditions are tomorrow at free period.

It's lunch and my friends and I line up to get food. I pick out salad and water. We sit at our usual table.

"Guys I have something to tell you." I say bit nervous.

"Is it the thing from yesterday?" Christina asks.

I nod. I get a chorus of "Okay"s .

I start to tell the story. Once I finish I leave everyone in shock, well except for Christina who is online shopping on her phone. While I was telling the story she was showing me what dresses looked good on her. Typical Christina.

"Wow" Lynn says

"Oh my gosh!" Marlene says

"By the angel Tris!" Will says. "Wait but the question is did you like it?" Will says wriggling his eyebrows. I think he was speaking for everyone because they were too speechless to do that themselves. Right after he said that Christina's eyes widen and she looks up from her phone. It's either she realized she didn't think of that or she found the a pretty dress, maybe even both.
