Captured by my Mate's Pack

Chapter 11

Ryan carried me into the building on the left, it was tall and had glass windows, so much different to what I was used to. I had lived in a small wooden cabin my whole life, before my parents were killed. My father was killed in my old home, and my mother, as you know, in front of me. Then I lived in the castle, which was old fashioned too.

He set me down onto the sleek, black marble tiles as we entered the doors and we walked side by side, with the girls behind us, down the seemingly never-ending corridor. There were many offices of the Alpha's assistants and managers of different areas of the pack. There was a doctor's office, a business office; and many more. We soon reached the door with the sign above saying 'Alpha's Office' and Ryan knocked.

A few seconds later the door swung open and we were greeted with a warm smile from a smart man, he looked like he was in his early 40's and was dressed for business in shiny black shoes, and a black suit.

"Hello, I recieved a call from the gate. You must be Prince Ryan from the Brownhill pack, right? You and your.. clan, may come in." He ushered us into his office with a long, slender finger and we all hurried in.

I took a seat next to Ryan, he visibly relaxed when he sat down as the man who was seeing us wasn't too mean or strict as it seemed. He squoze my hand as the girls sat down behind us.

"I hear that you have no home. Why is that?" Alpha Thomas questioned.

"We had to leave the castle, you see, my pack is murderous and destroyed the girl's original pack," Ryan pointed around the room at the girls quickly as he spoke, "they were imprisoned as servants in the castle which my parents rule the pack from."

He continued after he took a second to think, "I disagreed with this, and ever since there has been an inner conflict in the castle between my parents and I. Eventually, the girls here, found an escape and they took it. Violet," he smiled as he said my name, "is my mate and I needed to help and support her so I joined her and the girls in their escape." He leaned over the desk and whispered so that the girls couldn't hear, "Violet is pregnant, and I need to be with her to support her." I think he whispered because I wanted to be the one to tell the others.

Thomas nodded and understanding flashed in his eyes, "I'll rent you a small settlement to share for one month and you must find a way to pay your way to live here, and you need to earn mine and my pack's trust, to be known as in insider, rather than an outsider." He seemed like a genuinely nice man, he was down to Earth and was willing to help us.

He gave us a map each of the pack land and circled the main places we would need to know about, our new home, the 'supermarket', there were many buildings we hadn't encountered anywhere else before. Apparently this pack was much like some human settlements which were a few miles away. The humans don't know we exist, if they ever come up here the wolves recieve a warning to not be in wolf form until further notice. I folded the map and pushed it into my apron pocket. I seriously need some normal clothes I thought secretly.

Soon after our first meeting with the Alpha, Thomas, we made our way to our new home. We arrived after walking for a few minutes and the building we had been allocated was small height wise, but had a lot of sophistication, the walls had many windows, arranged in simple lines for each floor and the walls were made of grey, rough bricks. We walked in and the floor was made of polished wood, pictures hung neatly on the walls of flowers and landscapes, instantly brightening up the entrance.

I left Ryan behind and entered the living room. There was a large, red corner sofa which sat, filling the corner of the comfortable room. It was modern, but calming and nice. There was a shiny new tv on the wall which looked like it was something from the 25th century, I know I'm well behind with the times, but its just the way I was bought up, traditionally.
