Violet's POV ~

I woke up with my eyes full of tears which threatened to overflow and as I slowly opened my eyes I noticed that it was still dark outside. The twisted branches of the Oak tree by the window were tapping the glass as the wind made them sway. I turned over and looked at Ryan's sleeping form then breathed a sigh of relief, his father hadn't came yet. Before I woke up I had a nightmare. Obviously caused by all of this trouble.

~~~
Violet's nightmare..
A violent bang shook me from my sleep and I opened my eyes quickly, the bang sounded like it had come from downstairs! Maybe Sky had fallen off the sofa or something? I turned over to see if Ryan had heard it too, but the sheets were crumpled and limp.. I grabbed them and pulled them down and he wasn't there. I gasped and threw the covers off myself then scrambled out of bed.
I then realised, my stomach had shrunk? I patted my flat stomach desperately and screamed with horror. Why the hell weren't I pregnant?! I looked around the room frantically in case I had given birth then passed out and forgotten or something because there was no way I had imagined being pregnant, but there were no baby things anywhere, nothing in the room indicated that I had been, or was pregnant.
I ran to the door and twisted the handle then ran down the stairs in a hurry and panic, leaping down 2 steps at a time. A dark figure was on the sofa. But no, it wasn't Sky. It was.. Edward..
I screamed and grabbed the red vase that stood upon the table in the corner and held it like a weapon while he started laughing, he must have thought me holding a vase up as a weapon was hilarious. He is one sick, old man. He stood up and walked towards me then my body froze and I dropped the vase.
I couldn't move? What the hell? I tried to scream but his hand clamped over my mouth.
Everything went black.
I hugged my belly, thankful that my nightmare wasn't real. Thankful that Ryan was still here and that our baby was still growing inside me. A salty tear escaped my eye and rolled down my cheek.
I peered at the digital clock, '5:02', well there wasn't any way I was going to be able to sleep now. I would be too scared to have the same nightmare again and I would be too worried in case it came true.
I slowly got out of bed and took one last look at my sleeping mate before waddling off through the bedroom door and down the stairs. Damn it was hard being pregnant, my feet were swollen and my back ached but I didn't feel that tempted to go back to bed.
I entered the kitchen and filled a glass with water and guzzled it fast. I always felt dehydrated these days. Sky was fast asleep on the sofa with the spare sheets we had kindly given to her wrapped around her small frame, the light of the lamp reflected in her shiny hair as she slept. I didn't really know what to do which wouldn't wake anyone up so I just decided to go back to bed in the end. I slid in next to Ryan and lay my arm on his chest as it was rising and falling slowly from his deep breaths. I felt him stir and watched him open his eyes. "How come you're awake baby?" his voice was thick with sleep and he was straining to keep his eyes from closing again, "I had a nightmare. Don't worry though, I just had a drink then came back to bed."
He got up onto his elbows, a concerned look crossing his features, "Aw, what was it about?"
"It can wait till tomorrow."
"Well if anything is bothering you, it's bothering me too, Violet, I will always listen to you, even if it is.." he paused for a second to look at the clock, "..5:07."
I smiled at him, he always cared about me and was always here for me. So I explained my nightmare to him.
