Aaron's pov
A random business magazine asked for Dad and I to be on their cover since we are partners now. So basically I have to stand in front of a green screen with dad and smile. You wouldn't think it would be that hard. But it is. They take at least one hundred shots. But Dad doesn't care. Mostly because they are paying us a lot for this.Alina's pov
So our creative writing teacher wants us to write about someone we really care about. I could write about a lot of people. But,
I think I'll write about Dad."Seriously David, I think we should wear matching colors to the fall dance. I was thinking orange." Callie said.
Dawn tried to cover up her laughter.
"What about lime green?" David asked.
Callie rolled her eyes.
"That is not a fall color." She said.
"What if it's a dark green?" He asked.
I smiled.
We all know David doesn't care what color it is, but he really doesn't like orange. It's kinda weird actually. He loves basketball and yet he can't stand the color orange."Just small town girl living in a lonely world. Took the midnight train going anywhere." Dawn sang.
"Just city boy born and raised in South Detroit. Took the midnight train going anywhere." Josh sang.
"Okay let's stop there for now." Dawn said.
Tyler and I clapped.
They are practicing for the school musical. Dawn and Josh are trying out for the lead roles.
I'm thinking of trying out for the rebel character. I don't really want to do a kissing scene or get in Dawn's way, so I'm not trying out for a lead role.
"That was great babe!" Tyler said.
Dawn smiled.
"Thanks!"
"You're totally going to get that role!" I said.
Dawn smiled.Aaron's pov
"I get it. Yeah, I know. I know it sucks. Aph I know, but it's just something I have to do. Yeah. I love you to. Bye."
Aphmau is having a hard time with me being gone so much. I'm going to be in L.A. longer than expected. Dad and I have a few meetings we have to attend that were moved to later this week. But I promised to be home in time for Alina's play she told me about."Well let's see what the Lycans think." Mr. Farwell said. He looked at us.
"I think it's a great idea." Dad said.
I nodded in agreement.
How I love being here at 7am just to talk about expanding throughout North America.Alina's pov
Okay the continent test on North America is today. I have to name ten countries/territories in the North American continent. Central America counts. I think I've got it, but Laney is having a hard time.
"If only geography was as easy as witchcraft. Ugh!" She said.
"Isn't Luke good at geography? Why don't you ask him for help?" Dawn asked Laney.
"You want me to ask my little brother for help? No way! He already has a high enough ego already! He is always bragging about how much better he is at sports, witchery, and everything!" Laney said.
Dawn shrugged.
"Maybe Dawn is right. It doesn't hurt to ask for help from a younger sibling." I said.
"How do you know? Your and only child and Dawn and David are the same age." Laney said.
"Technically I'm older than David by five minutes." Dawn said.
"Whatever." Laney said.
Dawn shrugged again and pulled out The Hunger Games.
David sat down by her.
"Dawn that book is so old." He said before shoving a spoon full of mashed potatoes in his mouth.
"No it's not." She said.
"Yeah it is. It's older than us." He said.
Dawn rolled her eyes.
"And so are those models on those magazines you read." She said.
"Well yeah. It's sports illustrated. I'm not even looking at them." David said.
"Whatever you say." Dawn said with a evil grin.
David frowned.
I laughed.
"Sometimes I wish I had a twin." I said.
"No you don't!" They both said simultaneously.
I laughed again.
They both glared at me.
