Alina's pov
Everything was going great in my life. Everything!!! And then Micah asked me to the dance. At first, I was excited, but now I'm a nervous wreck.
I can't go to the dance with Micah! I don't even know him that well.

What am I going to do? All my friends are going, so I can't back out. And I don't want to hurt Micah's feelings.

I need to talk to Dawn and Laney.

I pulled out my laptop and called Dawn and Laney on skype.
Dawn was the only one who answered.
She was drinking a strawberry milkshake. Her favorite.
"What's up Ally!" She said.
I rolled my eyes. I hate it when she calls me that.
"I need to talk to you. It's really important." I said.
She got up and shut her door.
"So, what's so important that you skype me five minutes before the new episode of Ancient Aliens."
I laughed.
"Nerd." I laughed.
She growled.
"Okay. Okay. I'm done making fun of you. Here's my problem. You know how I said yes to Micah when he asked me to the dance."

"Yeah. You made a huge deal out of it."

"Yeah, well I don't know if I want to go with him and I don't want to upset him." I said.
Dawn sighed.
"Then, just tell him how you feel. He'll understand. But, just in case you need a reason, I think he asked Victoria Lynn before you." She said.
It felt like a arrow just went straight through my heart.
"H-he did...." I said.
Dawn nodded before taking another sip of her shake.
"Dawn! David! Get down here right now...our shows on!" I heard Gene yell.
"Hey, Alina, I have to go. Call Laney. She might be able to help you out." Dawn said before waving and hanging up.
I sighed.
I looked at my watch and yawned.
I need some sleep.
