Aaron's pov
I ate the soup Alina brought me. It was obviously from the cafe. Not that I don't think Alina can't cook. But she is more on her mom's side when it comes to that talent.
I decided to take the bowl downstairs. I walked down and saw Alina and David washing the dished together. Alina was washing them and David was rinsing. If they weren't cousins I would kick David out so fast.
"You guys mind if I add a dish."
Alina smiled. "Sure dad."
I smiled back and put my bowl in the sink.
Dad seems okay. He is alseep. I'll call mom later and tell her that he's sick.
I started to walk back upstairs when I heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it." Alina said.
She answered the door and Travis practically ran in.
Not this again.
He grabbed me by the shoulders.
"Aaron! Aaron! I saw it again! It came back!"
I sighed.
"What came back Travis?" I asked.
He panicked.
"You know what came back!" He said.
"The hole?" I asked.
He nodded.
This happens once every month. Always on the 5th of every month.
"I swear Travis, when are you gonna stop with this joke." I said.
He gasped.
"You. Think. This. Is. A. Joke!!!" He yelled.
I motioned to my dad and he frowned.
"You think this is a joke." He said in a fast whisper.
I nodded.
He glared.
David looked at us with a confused expression.
"What is the hole?" He asked.
Alina laughed.
"The hole is something Uncle Travis came up with before I was born. Hasn't stopped yelling about it on the 5th of every month for almost 16 years." Alina said.
Travis seemed upset.
"It's not a joke. It's a hole that takes you to a different universe. A backwards universe!" He said.
David looked amused.
"It's always 'Real' Travis. But I know you dig up that hole. Katelyn even confirmed it." I said.
"I want to see it." David said.
Alina raised an eyebrow.
"You want to see the hole in my Uncle Travis's backyard?"
David nodded.
Travis looked at him. "You believe me. I should have known you would. You're Dante's nephew! Of course you would." Travis said.
David laughed.
"I won't believe it intill I see it." He said.
"Crap you are more like Gene." Travis said.
"Okay let's go then!" He continued. We all walked over to Travis's house.
He seemed to be excited.
We are way to old for this.
David seemed excited to. He'll be disappointed, but oh well.
We all entered into Travis's backyard and to the hole.
I looked at it.
It's just a hole, as always.
Travis seemed confused.
"Wait." He said as I started to say something. He grabbed his shovel and started to dig.
He stopped and smiled.
Then he pushed me.
"What the hell Travis!" I yelled as I got dizzy.I woke up in a weird place.
What in the?
"Dad?" I heard someone ask.
"Dad? Are you okay? Dad wake up?" I heard Alina say.
I opened my eyes to see her looking at me. But she looked different. How long was I out?
Where am I?
I saw all the trees start to spin.
I turned to see Travis.
"Didn't I tell all of you! It exists!" He said.
Everything was different. We were not in Mystreet anymore.
Then I passed out again."Daddy! Wake up!" I saw Alina above me again.
"Where am I?! TRAVIS!"
He smiled at me.
"You saw it too." He said.
It was all a delusion.
"Travis you knocked me out. You jerk!"
He frowned.
"You were transported to another dimension. You weren't knocked out." He said.
David and Alina glared at him.
"Yeah right. More like the dimension of dreams." David said.
My head started to spin.
"I need to go home, and I'm telling Katelyn about this." I said.
Travis froze.
"You wouldn't"
I laughed as I walked away and said "Wouldn't I".
