Monday Problems

Alina's pov
Homework. Homework. Homework. Seems as though that's all I do after school.
Mostly because David is so busy at his new job. They hire fifteen year olds at the new diner. Everyone has been going there lately.
Also Dawn is always with Tyler or doing after school activities.
Then Laney is always volunteering for something. And I'm here, at home, all alone!
Dad has been super busy at work and Mom has non-stop catering stuff to do. The maid cafe has expanded. They having catering services now.
So everyone is always busy, except me!
*ring*
I picked up my phone and answered without looking at who was calling me.
"Hey Alina." I heard my dad say.
"Hey Dad! What's up?" I asked.
He usually doesn't call me when he's at work.
"So, I might not be able to make it home intill late tonight. So I won't be able to cook, and I don't want you to suffer through your Mother's cooking. So, I ordered takeout. It should be delivered in about ten minutes. Anyway I have to get back to work. Love you, bye." He said.
Then he hung up.
I frowned. I hope everyday isn't like this.

Aaron's pov
I ordered chinese to be delivered to the house. My dad apologized for me having to stay late. I just hope Alina isn't upset. But, there are so many things I have to do to make sure things are running smoothly. I hope this isn't a everyday thing.

Alina's pov
I walked downstairs and smelled bacon! I love bacon!
Dad cooked. He seems exhausted.
"Good morning!" I said happily.
He smiled.
"Good morning sweetie. *yawn*" he said.
He has bags under his eyes.
"Dad did you sleep good last night?" I asked.
"Yep. Best four hours of sleep I've ever had!" He said with a big smile.
I frowned.
Dad saw me and stopped smiling.
"Alina don't worry about me. I'm your Dad. I can handle myself. Okay." He said.
I faked a smile.
"Okay. I'll try not to worry." I said.
"Good." Dad said.
"Aaron. Can you elucidate to me why your father thinks it is a good idea to keep you at work all night." Mom said.
"He didn't keep me there. I chose to stay and finish some things." Dad said.
"Well if your so malaise that you can't work, then what do you do?" Mom asked.
"Aphmau, I'm fine." Dad said.
After a few minutes, I decided to start walking to school.
I said bye and left.

Aaron's pov
My Dad called another meeting. I'm super tired, but I'm not bored.
Dad created a pretty scintillating presentation.
It's very interesting. Other than that I don't have much else to do today. That means I can go home, on time, today.

Alina's pov
School is dreadful. My friends are so pre-occupied that I don't have anyone to talk to. Except Dakota. He flirted with a girl in english class and Mrs. Curfs heard him. Her reaction toward him was vitriol. She gave him a detention and he made everything worse by calling her punishment draconian. He's so stupid.
