The cold frost of the forest had been nipping at Namjoons family's tales ever since early August when the mountains reached their early stages of winter. It was now late November and the forest was covered in a blanket of white the morning Namjoon had been awoken from his slumber. Being a young male pup he hadn't quite presented yet leaving him at his father's mercy for many years to come. He opened his eyes taking a big yawn and wiping drool from the side of his mouth letting his canines stick out

"Good morning kiddo. Are you ready to go hunting. Today is the big day, the whole pack will show up later for supper." His father's voice was soft and stern. He always spoke like that to Namjoon.

The young pup nodded and transformed before jumping off the bed. His father gathered their things and straped a harness onto Namjoon before transforming himself. Namjoon didn't need to ask what it was for, he already knew his father would expect him to lug the pray back home without help this time. He sighed and looked forward to the hunt. Upon approaching a buck his father gave him a rigid gaze informing him to be quiet. They waited before ambushing the creature, lunging onto his back as they both bit into it's neck. After a good fight the deer fell to the ground bleeding as his father administered the final blow. Before looking up to the smoggy sky and howling. Namjoon followed his howl nothing compared to his father's mighty sound. They looked at eachother and Namjoon turned back to bound the bucks legs before strapping the ropes to his harness and making the long pull home. His father a black haired wolf with icy blue eyes following beside him his pride radiating off himself. Meanwhile Namjoon struggled with every tug getting caught in snow banks and powdery dips. When they finally arrived home his father and him changed back.

"Namjoon you did so well today! I'm so proud of you, I'm sure you will be the strongest alpha of any pack. Now go inside and rest, while I cut up the meat for your mother to cook."

"Yes sir, thanks dad." Namjoon said with his dimpled grin as he hugged his dad and ran inside to take a warm shower and wash off the blood that now stained his skin rather than his fur.
Later that day Namjoon sat in his room playing with an old soundboard his uncle had brought him from the big city. When his sister walked inside his room. She looked rather uneasy as she sat on her brothers desk.
"What's up?" Namjoon asked worry lacing his voice.

"Dad went back out to hunt and he hadn't been back in a while. Mom said she only needed a few rabbits."

"He didn't even mention it to me. I'm sure he's fine sis, it's dad were talking about. He can hold his own out there." Namjoon was confident in his words but deep down he felt them faltering.
"I guess your right. I'm going to go help mama," she glanced over at the recorded screen. "What's that for?"
"I'm making sound beats. You wanna listen?"
"Nah, I should go help. See you at dinner oppa."

"Okay, careful sis, she bites." He teased baring his canines and snarling. His sister giggled as she left.
More time passed and Namjoon began to worry more and more about his father. As if on cue he heard a loud crash come from the living room. His heart skipped a beat as he ran downstairs to investigate. What he saw made his face run pale. A woman with dark red hair had her foot placed on his father's neck. Her red eyes and fangs flashing the same bring red color his father was covered in.

"Seems we've managed to bring the puppy out of the den." She spoke, her tone as cold as the snow covering the room from the open door. She began waving at Namjoon, who's eyes now glowed gold and his canines and claws appeared. He was scared but the anger of his inner wolf screamed at him to attack, to kill, to avenge.

"What did you do to my father!?" His voice growing loud and booming.

She laughed and licked one of her fangs. "We drained him." She said taking her foot off of his neck and kicking him over. Namjoon took only but a few seconds before he lunged forward at the vampire. He snarled as he began ripping into her skin biting and clawing all he could in his wolf form. He heard his mother scream for him to stop, where she sat clutching his baby sister in the kitchen. But before he knew it he was ripped away and flung across the room before they hog tied him the women now bloody and doubled over scowling down at him.

"You stupid fucking brat. This is what you deserve." She kicked his side with as much strength as she had Namjoon grunted out whimper. "I'm going to drink every last drop from that pretty little face of yours you disobedient bitch. I bet your dad a fight and winner takes you. He refused to agree, so I did the logical thing and killed him." She bent down and ran her fang across his cheeck before picking him up and taking him from the house. Namjoon knew she wouldn't hurt his family, just for the fact she already had killed his father and was probably going to kill him.

Half way through their little journey through the mountains Namjoon was able to slip through the ties, managing as much strength as he physically could to fight the two vampires that were with him. He tore them both to bloody pulps as they fought him back. Finally he knocked them down enough to run. But not for long as he soon found he was lost, he had only ever been about twenty four miles from their house before and it was during hunts. This was well beyond that, he wandered around for days until he met a pack. It consisted of all males and from what he could tell they were all alphas. The hair on the back of his neck stood up when he realized they had spotted him as well. However upon seeing he was still very young and horribly injured the leader signed his gaze a bit.

"What's a Kid like you doing this far near the city?"

"I'm near the city?" He asked confused as the older male glanced at him. As he took a whiff walking around him.

"Yeah and it seems you've lost your scent. You got a sir name kid?" He asked and the younger nodded.

"Kim Namjoon."

The elder frowned, "Sorry kid never heard of them." Namjoom nodded not surprised because this was obviously a city wolf he had probably never been that deep into the forest. He was about to walk away when the other stopped him.

"Hey wait up a minute, this is my pack. We're all alphas and we keep it that way. I don't usually do this but it's not everyday I meet a wolf covered in vampire blood. Why not join us? We live in the city and it will be hard for you to talk to humans at first, but we can teach you. Also do you usually walk around with your claws and teeth out?"
Namjoon shook his head, it had become an instinct ever since he was young. He showed them around strangers and when he was upset.

Namjoon was introduced to the human world after that, attended an online school and one of his pack mates shared his interest in music. He learned to rap and when a company called BigHit held auditions he didn't see why he shouldn't go, he did and to his own supirse he got in. He was around the company's owner and producer when he had let his secret species slip. It was during a dinner and he was eating a rare steak. He didn't notice his teeth and claws had emerged. The man was utterly shocked but luckily the man was okay with it in the end. He took extra lengths to not let Namjoons little secret slip.
