Ib panted heavily, for she and Gary had been running for a while, hoping that no one would possibly catch them. Thank goodness, no one had really tried. Ib looked at Gary and smiled. It was just like old times--running from unwanted presences. "You know, Gary.." the brown haired female began, "That looks an awful lot like the big painting from-"
Gary frowned, turning around to face the mural they had stopped to rest in front of, "Yes. It does."
He poked at it in suspicion, only to find his hand was going through the painting. Ib's eyes widened greatly, and she placed a trembling hand on Gary's shoulder, to try to pull him out, instead accidentally forcing him into the painting. The girl looked down at her wedding dress and then back at the painting, "I'm coming for you, Gary!"
Ib held her breath and jumped into the painting, closing her eyes, for, she didn't want to see what happened as she fell into Guertena's strange world. She opened her eyes, as she felt something cushiony under her. She had fell onto Gary. "O-Oh...Sorry about that." she laughed softly, standing up to dust off the skirt of her wedding dress. Gary smiled, "No problem."
"It's been a long time, hasn't it?" Ib asked him, looking around the art-filled dungeon. Gary nodded, and then smiled at her, "We can get through it. We did last time."
Ib grabbed Gary's hand, "I believe you," she said, letting go to walk around a bit. "If I'm correct we should need to find our roses," Ib searched a while, until she came upon a dead rose lying on the ground. Examining it's bold red color she frowned, "That must be mine."
Ib hurriedly, in fear they would walk into some sort of puzzle or monster, walked towards a vase she had spied at the end of the room. She placed the rose in the vase, watching it return to full health. Taking it out of the vase, she made it, although awkwardly, fit into her hair, a way to carry the rose since her gown had no pockets. She began to walk back, but fell over, only to find a dark wiggling hand coming at her from the ground. She felt a sharp pain and assumed her rose's health had went down a bit. Ib stood up, making sure to carefully step over the hand, for, she knew the vase was out of water.
Gary welcomed Ib into his arms, "Be careful next time. You never know when more of them could show up."
A door appeared.
Gary, shielding Ib with his arm, walked up to it, poking at it sightly. Nothing happened. He turned the doorknob. It was unlocked. Gary looked back at Ib, "I'll go in. Stay back,"
Ib waited patiently, but, she was sure she heard a scream. She was aware of the trickery this gallery could preform, but, she was sure it was in Gary's voice, and she wasn't taking any chances. Ib held her breath and strode into the room.
She jumped back in horror.
Gary was sprawled out against the floor helpless. She didn't see anything too threatening, but, she knew how this place worked. She walked into the room further, to find "The Lady In Red" had broken off the wall. She pulled up the sides of her dress, hurriedly walking behind it to find a blue rose, which although slightly wilted, had much more health then the one she had found earlier. She quickly walked back to Gary holding it out to him.
He grabbed the rose, and stood up, using Ib's shoulder for balance.
