running

Dan sprinted and jogged the entire day
He made a vow to himself that he would not stop running until he saw that goddamn house
Night fell

the fifth night

He kept running
Blindly
For love
For the only care he had
Skilfully detouring around where he remembered death house to be, Dan never stopped his fast pace
Never slowed
He didn't care if his heart exploded in his chest
He would die trying to save his companion without an ounce of regret

He was still running when morning broke
His eyes had grown tired of the tall yellowed grass
Yet they still scanned the field ahead for any sign of the house

Hope

He found it

The house was straight ahead

Dan's pace became more rapid and manic as tears flowed from his ducts and flew off his face before they could even roll down his cheek, for his velocity caused his tears to defy gravity. He himself was defying his own doubts which was something he hadn't done in a long long while

Oh the things Phil Lester did to him

Oh the things Love did to him

The house became bigger and bigger in Dan's view

He felt it

Phil's energy he stumbled up the steps almost drunken on the liquor of his emotions
His mind fogged
He couldn't even see straight
All he could see in his mind was the word

Phil

He burst through the front door with brutality only to have him stomach drop into his thighs

He froze completely in his tracks

Chris

He was leaning against the doorway nonchalantly and smirking at Dan

Why would he be smirking

The only reason someone as truly evil as Chris would smirk is if he had won in some way

Panic flowed through every single inch of dans shaken form
All he could bring himself to say was
"I'll deal with you later" and stormed off towards Phil

"Okay hun"
Chris exclaimed at Dan's back

Dan threw open the door to Phil's room
