Author POV

"I...." Sujeong fell into a total silence.

"Please, I would pay any much you want, can you still stay with him more?" Mr.Kim stood up and bow to her.

"N-no Mr Kim...please sit." Sujeong pleaded and stood up also.

"I...will continue to help your son...if..." Sujeong finally made a decision to continue her work with Taehyung and honestly she would still love to see Taehyung everyday.

"Thank you doctor, just tell me, how much you want." Mr Kim thanked Sujeong but still didn't stop offering Sujeong money.

"If..you will let me work at the hospital too  and I'm not a person who would help someone with money, I don't need your money, as a doctor its my priority to protect my patients." Sujeong said as a doctor with dignity.

Mr Kim smiled and soften her eyes at Sujeong, how light hearted he became after hearing those words. She is truly a doctor.

"Sure..you can still go to the hospital, but won't you be tired?" Mr Kim asked as he worries his son's doctor.

"Its okay, I can manage." Sujeong said showing him another side of hers that is independence.

*time skip

"I'm finally back baby!" Sujeong cheered with excitement after entering the office that she's been missing at the hospital.

"Oh? You're back so soon?" Wendy saw Sujeong through the window before entering her office and asking her as she takes a sip of the coffee she's holding.

"Why? You don't like me back?" Sujeong said as she make an anoyed face at her older friend. Wendy who is drinking accidentally got coffee caught in her throat and coughed a couple times with hitting her chest.

"Ya! Its not that, I'm just surprised that you're here." Wendy said and controlling her expressions.

"I missed my work a lot." Sujeong said and smiled at Wendy.

"Well what are you going to do right now?" Wendy asked and also smiled.

"I'm gonna go and see my patients right away!" Sujeong said excitedly and exits her office to rush to her working place the ER.

She enters the section and stopped walking, she starts observing the suroundings while thinking.

While the nurse, the other doctors and the patients looks at her, she just smiled at them like a crazy person.

"Ya, what are you doing?" A familiar voice slapped her from behind. When she look back its no other than the trainee doctor Kim Mingyu.

Sujeong only smiled at him although she hated him, he used to annoys her a lot.

"Ya! Snap out of it, are you crazy?" Mingyu said and snapping his fingers in front of her.

"I am back!" Sujeong said excitedly.

"Oh senior Ryu! Long time no see~" Mingyu's friend Seungkwang came making her to gigle.

"But didn't we just met awhile ago?" Sujeong said still laughing at Seungkwang's mistake.

"Anyways...are you gonna start working here again from now on?" Mingyu butted in asking her curiously with one tone.

"Yup! This is my workplace anyways..." Sujeong replied happily showing every single gum in her mouth.

"Soooo since you're back how about we go grab something to eat senior Ryu." Seungkwang said as he grab Sujeong's shoulders and turns her body around to give a push to the cafeteria.
