Chapter 18

Author POV

The night came like usual, Taehyung and his family is having a dinner at the dinning room, the food were so delight and nicely done like from a 5-star hotel, its all made by his mother Mrs Kim and with the help from the maids.

"How is the food? Is it okay?" His mother asked looking forward to everyone's answer.

"It certainly is delicious." Seokjin said starting the first comment. 

"It's really good." Taehyung said.

"Yes, its really delicious, my wife is a good cook." and finally Mr Kim stated his comment for the dishes, as a happy responds to all the positive comments Mrs Kim smiled widely to them.

"I'm glad all of you like it." Mrs Kim said.

After all the chit-chatting its finally time to go to bed, everyone bid their goodnight and went to their separate rooms accept for Mr and Mrs Kim which shared the same room.

Taehyung returned to his room and jump on the bed to go sleep. 

Minutes past by and hours past by, he can't sleep.

"What's wrong with me? I can't sleep." He murmured to himself, the clock shows its 2 am already.

"I should go get some warm milk." Taehyung talked to himself and decided to go downstairs to get a glass of warm milk.

He exited his room and walks alone in the dark empty scary hallway, the mansion sure does look pretty on the day, but it looks frightening like a haunted house at night without the lights.

He opens the fridge to get the milk and warm it up, he pour the milk into the mug and warms it using the microwave, not sure if that works he just did that out of laziness. After a couple of minutes the microwave stopped and the milk is ready to drink, its warm already.

He took a sip of the warm milk and the milk slowly slides down his throat, while drinking the milk he decided to take a seat and relax his mind.

"BANG! BANG!" Suddenly he heard a loud bang on the second floor, it sounded like a person jumped on the first floor, but who could it be jumping at this hour.

Wiling to take a risk, Taehyung decided to go see what's happening, slowly he climbs up the stairs, he is not scared because he has a martial art skill, so he is ready to fight anytime. It might be a robber.

He is also worried since everyone else is sleeping on the first floor and he is the only one on the ground floor beside the maids, he worries about their safety.

He crouched on the floor and slowly approaching to where he heard the loud noise, it's weird no one heard that noise except for him. When he was tip toeing he saw the glass door which contains 5 'secret room' is slightly open.

Without hesitating he approach and entered that room slowly. He peeked around and there is still no one, after scanning around he found one of the 5 room is open. While crouching he still walk slowly to the room, the room is next to his 'secret room'.

He peeked through the room and his eyes began to widen. A sight that could break anyone's heart.

"Don't move." The man in black said, the man is the one who jumped loudly earlier, he managed to get into the house through the window on the first floor.

The man is holding the knife towards the neck of the one and only beloved mother that Taehyung have right now in the world. Not to mention this room does belong to her.
