Chapter 22

Author POV

The night is getting darker and the music became much more louder, it doesn't seem like a professional celebration party anymore but more like the club that roars on with explosive music. The people are slowly gaining in the center of the hall to shake their body to their content.

Sujeong still prefers sitting down and relaxing herself on the comfy chair while bobbing to the music with nice sensation, while Taehyung and Mingyu accompanies her by her sides.  Taehyung looked at her cute girl and smile at her pouring cuteness.  He can't stop smiling while staring at her.

Mingyu didn't wanna make any physical contact with them because it would make him fall into sudden awkwardness. He moved his shoulders with the music while watching the people dancing.

"Mingyu." Someone called him and he turns his head to look at the face of the girl that he loves, Sujeong.

"Are you okay?" Sujeong said but couldn't be reach to his ears because of the loud music that blocks away all the words that comes from her mouth, it's weird how he can hear Sujeong calling his name though.

Mingyu shakes his head as a sign he doesn't hear her but Sujeong make a 'let's talk later' gesture and that's how the conversation ended. They continued to wonder in their own world accompanied by the music. Taehyung didn't even bother Mingu's presence instead he acts kind to him.

The music suddenly slowed down into a soft ballad song where lovers would gather and dance slowly together. The light in the air suddenly became pink blends with romantic aroma, how could this get even more worse to Mingyu.

Bitterly smiling in broken pieces, "Aren't you guys gonna dance? " he said.

Mingyu POV

I may be lying ,it may hurt but I can't be selfish. "Aren't you guys gonna dance? " I said painfully,  why am I doing this? Why am I saying this when I know that it would hurt me instead? 

Sujeong stopped from what she was doing and pays attention to me, and Taehyung also looked at me calmly. "B-but I can't dance...." She said. "I can teach you slowly if you want. " Taehyung said to Sujeong who is taken back with my question.

"I don't wanna bother.." She said although I knew she wanted. My eyes don't lie, I can see it on her eyes, it sparkle when the offering reached her ears,  I can see it on her chubby cheeks that colored with pale red when she hear me ask that question.

"You shouldn't bother me Sujeong, you can dance if you want." I said and took a sip from what I am drinking, "I-its not that..." She said stuttering, it felt bitter not the coffee I'm drinking but my heart it felt like needles are continuously stabbing it.  I know.......

She's lying.

"It's okay, you don't have to dance if you don't want to." Taehyung joined the conversation. He is indeed being kind to me, even prevents my heart to fall again by watching them together but I'm sorry.

"Well, I'm gonna go out and inhale the air for a moment. "I said out of the blue to not bother their private time. I stand up from the chair and turn around to walk away.  "Don't go missing again! " Sujeong suddenly shouted at me in this slow atmosphere, luckily no one heard that except me.

"Don't worry, I won't." I said while my back facing her. Not waiting any longer I stepped away from the two and the hall. The night tonight is beautiful, it would be nice to just sit down and stargaze tonight. There are not much people around here in the dark only some people standing at the entrance of the hotel.
