Chapter 12 - How many?

Shane's P.O.V

I don't know how long I was in the hospital but im glad I decided to go home. It has probably been about five hours since we got there. Now im at home watching the kardashians.

Joey's P.O.V

Its been six hours since Shelbys been in labor. I still don't understand why in the freaking world was she walking the dog while she was 9 months pregnant. I hear her moan and scream at the same time. I start to pace back and forth fast. They kicked me out of the room when her pain got worse. Errr I cant do anything to help her! Just then a doctor comes out of the room.

Doctor: She is asking for you.

Me: Ok.

I walk into the room and I see her laying on the bed in pain. I run to her side and grab her hand. She smiles at me then groans.

Me: Its gonna be fine.

I smile at her. She told me a week ago that we were having a baby girl. I was super exited. Ive always wanted to take care of a little girl let alone my own child but I was scared too. I knew nothing of being a father.

Shelby: She is coming I feel her!

Doctor: Ok then we need to hurry! Can you please lean up so I can give you a shot so you become numb so it wont hurt that bad?! Remember you have to be still.

Shelby: Yes.

She leans up and they give her the shot. When she lays back on the bed the doctors start to set her up. WAIT IM GOING TO WITNESS THIS! I freak out!

Shelby: Its going to be okay joey. Don't worry.

I start calming myself down. They tell her to push. She pushes and then screams!

Shelby: FUUUUUCK JOOOOEY!

Me: OH MY GOD!!!

Oh my god! Im freaking out!! She keeps pushing. She grabs my color.

Shelby: JOEY YOU BETTER FUCKING LOVE THIS BABY!!

Me: I WILL!

THIS IS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT HAVING A BABY WOULD BE LIKE! I finally understand what they go through! She looks me straight in the eye!

Shelby: DAMNIT YOU DID THIS TO ME!

Me: Im sorry.

I look at the doctor and he's holding a baby. I smile in relief. The baby is crying so I know its fine.

Shelby: Wait!!

Doctor: Whats wrong!!

The doctor looks down and then his eyes get big.

Doctor: THERES ANOTHER FREAKING ONE!!!

Doctors and nurses start crowding in so I get close to Shelby as she groans and screams. When the baby finally comes it doesn't cry. I panic!

Me: WHY ISNT THE BABY CRYING!!

Shelby starts to cry. I grab her hand again and kiss her forehead. The doctor gives the baby to another doctor and they rush out of the room.

Shelby: GO WITH THEM!!

Me: ok ill go!

I run out of the room following the doctors. They take the baby to a room and they wont let me go in. I watch from the window as they do stuff to the baby. I start to pace. After twenty minutes they tell me the baby is fine and that I should go back to my wife. I tried to tell them she wasn't my wife but they walked away before I could. I take another look at the window and all I see is them pampering the child. I figured they were right and walked back to the room. When I get there I see Shelby with our little girl and I smile.

Shelby: Hey

Me: Hi.

Shelby: Come say hi to your little girl.

I walk over to her and grab the baby. I start to cry. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She has beautiful blue eyes. I guess she got that from me. I choke out a laughing sob.

Me: Can I name her?

Shelby: Yes

Me: Ill call her Nadia Grace Graceffa!

Just then they bring in the other baby.

Nurse: Its a boy!

She says smiling. I look at Shelby and her eyes are glistening with tears. I get worried. Did she not want a boy?

Me: Whats wrong?

Shelby: Nothing ive always wanted a little boy!

The nurse gave the little boy to Shelby.

Shelby: Can I name him?

Me: Yea that would only be fair.

Shelby: Your gonna be called Aidan Bradly Graceffa. Your name is the same as your sisters its just spelled backwords!

Wow she is good with names! I should probably go tell shane that we have twins! I walk out of the room with Nadia in my arms. When I reach the waiting room I look around. My heart breaks. He isn't here! I go back to the room. How could shane miss the most important thing in my life! Me and Shelby sign the certificates.

Shane's P.O.V

About an hour ago I have decided to do something for joey and Shelby. There gonna be happy! That's all I could do for them. I already packed my bags too. Ready to leave so they can live happily ever after.
