Chapter 13 - Choices

Joey's P.O.V

Im driving Shelby and our twins to my house.

Shelby: Yea Madison wont be home till tonight so I cant go home yet.

Me: Its ok I don't really want you to go home anyway.

Shelby: Oh

Me: Yea. I kinda want to spend time with my kids.

Shelby: Oh ok.

We arrive at the apartment and I get out and get Nadia. Shelby grabs Aidan. We go to my apartment door and open it. I go looking for shane. I find him in the hallway upstairs.

Shane: Hey...

Me: Hey where home.

I go up to him and kiss him on the lips.

Me: Why did you leave the hospital?

Shane: Oh well I wanted to do something for you and Shelby.

He smiled and I could tell it was fake. I give him a puzzled look.

Shane: SHELBY COME HERE!

I hear Shelby walk up the stairs.

Shelby: Whats up?

Shane waves us into his room and opens the door. I stand there shocked. He did all of this! I look at shane with tears in my eyes.

Me: Shane this is wonderful!

Shane: Thank you. Now you and Shelby can live here with your kid-wait why do you have two kids?

Me: For one Shelby had twins, we didn't know it was going to happen, for two me and Shelby are not going to live together shane you know I love you!

He perked up looking happy. Was he seriously worried about that? I look at the room again. The walls are purple and theres a crib in the middle of the room with girly toys everywhere! There was also a bed in the corner of the room with a rocking chair on the opposite side.

Me: Shane, Shelby is going to be staying here for a few nights until we decide on who gets the babies.

Shane: Ok. Whats their names?

Me: I named the girl Nadia Grace Graceffa and Shelby named the boy Aidan Bradley Graceffa!

Shane nodded smiling.

Shelby: Their getting hungry.

Me: Umm feed Aidan first and me and shane will go play with Nadia. Then well switch.

Shelby: Ok

Me and shane walk into our room and sit on the floor and lay Nadia down in the middle of us. We tickle her and start playing with her feet. She smiled a lot. Me and shane then layed down next to her and we started to talk.

Shane: Hey joey?

Me: Yea?

Shane: What if you got to keep one of the babies and then Shelby got the other one.

Joey: What do you mean?

Shane: I mean since you got to name Nadia and you've always wanted a girl you can keep her. Then Shelby could keep the little boy since she named him.

Joey: Yea we could do that.

Shane leans in and kisses me.

Shane: Ow

I look down and see that Nadia grabed shanes hair. We start to laugh. Me and shane look into each others eyes. His eyes were perfect I got lost in them. I don't know how long it was till I heard someone cough. I look behind me and Shelby stood there.

Me: Oh hey.

I cough. Well that was awkward.

Shelby: I need Nadia. Here is Aidan .

I grab Aidan and Shane Hands her Nadia. We sit there and start to play with Aidan.

Me: I should probably tell Shelby whats happening.

Shane: Yea.

Me and shane kiss a few times while playing with Aidan. Shelby comes back in the room.

Shelby: Hey

Me: Hey we need to talk.

Shelby: Ok let me just put Aidan and Nadia to bed.

Me: Ok.

When Shelby gets them to sleep we all sit in the living room looking at each other.

Shelby: soo

Me: Ok well me and shane were thinking we could let one of us keep one baby and one of us get the other one. I could get Nadia because ive always wanted a little girl and you get Aidan because you've always wanted a boy. And we could always have play dates and the kids would know whos the parents.

Shelby: hmm Fine.

Shane jumps up yelling yes.

Me and Shelby: Shhhh!

Shane: Sorry.

Me: its ok.

Shelby: Well im tired im gonna go to bed.

Me: Ok we are too then.

She nods and then goes upstairs to shanes room. Me and shane stands up and he comes to me and kisses me hard but passionately. I kiss him back. We break off and then go to our room and lay down. Shane puts his arms around my waist and we fall asleep.
