Chapter 20 - Home Sweet Home

Joey's P.O.V

We walk into the apartment. Oh there's people here. I see Shelby, Madison, Cassandra and Conner Franta. I hug everybody. Shane gives Shelby Nadia and she kisses her and hugs her. I see Aidan in Madison's hands. I look at Madison. she looks back. I was trying to tell her to give me Aidan because I have truly missed him but she didn't get it. she looks at me with a weird face.

Madison: Do you mind?

ok that was mean. I guess it did look like I was staring. I walk over and tell her I just wanted Aidan. she laughs then hands me him. I grab him and squeeze him and kiss his head. He seemed tired so I sat down on the couch and held him in my arms. he was hugging me. I couldn't stop smiling. when Aidan fell asleep I took him upstairs to put in Nadias crib.

Cassandra's P.O.V

Joey went to put Aidan to bed. Then Madison goes after him with Nadia. I look at Conner he smiles at me. I blush. Ok OMG Conner smiled at me!! I told Shane that I liked Conner and Shane said he could hook us up and told Conner to come to Shane's apartment. Were all here to celebrate Joey's coming home. Shane starts talking to Conner. I stand up and go to the bathroom.

Madison's P.O.V

I walk upstairs after Joey with Nadia asleep in my arms. I saw that Joey was acting weird and I didn't want to worry Shane so I thought I could talk to him myself. when I walk in the room I see Joey leaning over the crib with Aidan sleeping in the crib. I walk up to Joey and put Nadia in the crib next to Aidan. He looks up at me.

Joey: I tried to hold it in.

He shakes his head and starts to cry.

Conner's P.O.V

I really like Cassandra she is beautiful. Will she go out with me?? I'm talking to Shane about building my confidence to ask her. He says I should just go for so that's what I'm going to do. Shane left saying he was going to see what's keeping Joey. I walk towards the bathroom. when she walks out I grab her arm and pull her back into the bathroom. I shut the door and then push her against it. I kiss her deeply and hungrily. sparks go through my body.

Shane's P.O.V

I walk upstairs and stop at the door of the nursery listening in.

Madison: Joey you need to talk to Shane he'll help you.

Joey: what will he think though...I just can't do it. I love him to much to put in that kind of position.

Madison: I don't know what else to say Joey. you wont let me help you so ill just leave you to your thoughts.

I hear her walk towards the door. she walks out then stops. she looks at me and gives me a sad nod. I nod back knowing what I needed to do. I walk into the room and Joey turns around. He's been crying. I couldn't hold it in. I run to him and kiss him.

Joey: Shane how can you still love me?

Me: I still love you because I made a promise to myself that if I was going to love anybody it was always going to be you!! You saved me Joey you helped me when no one else could. I fell in love with you! that will never go away!

He starts crying. I hug him hard. we slowly slide to the floor.

Shelby's P.O.V

Madison comes down stairs after I've been sitting by myself for a while. She looked sad.

Me: what's wrong?

Madison: Joey isn't ok. he told me that he wished he was able to get back the moments he missed with Nadia and Aidan.

I look at her and start feeling sad. poor Joey! me and Madison decide we should probably get going because we haven't been able to update a video to our youtube channel. I go and get Aidan. when I reach the room Shane and Joey walk out. Joey's face is puffy. I tell them me and Madison need to be going so they say ok and I get Aidan. I walk out of the room with him and stop in front of Joey. He kisses Aidan then looks at me. he leans down and my heart starts to race. then he kisses me on the lips. he lets go and looks into my eyes.

Joey: thanks for being the best mom ever.

I look at Shane behind him. he just nods.

Me: thank you.

I walk away and leave with Madison.

Cassandra's P.O.V

we go upstairs and see Shelby coming down.

Me: where are you going?

Shelby: we need to head on home. oh I see you guys holding hands. are you guys together?

Me: yeah

I blush.

Shelby: awww well goodnight.

we say goodnight the go the rest of the way upstairs. we tell Joey and Shane where going to leave. Shane smiles at me and Joey just nods. when we leave we go to my apartment. when we get there we head for the bedroom.

Shane's P.O.V

I look at Joey.

Me: everyone is gone. do you want to talk now? 

Joey: yeah. well I'm just sad because Nadia and Aidan had one year without me and I missed everything!

Me: you can't control that Joey.

Joey: I know its just I can't help feeling horrible like I let them down.

Me: just remember. even if you missed a year. make the rest the ones they can't forget make it the best years of their lives! when their old enough they'll understand. trust me.

Joey: your right. im sorry I love you Shane!

Me: I love you too.

I hear Nadia crying.

Me: I think its time for lunch. haha.

Joey: lets go out to eat!

Me: Ok!

Me and Joey pack Nadias diaper bag then grab Nadia and head to the restaurant.
