"This way." He said between clenched teeth.
I quickly followed him,his footsteps were slow,as if any moment he would break down to pieces on the ground.
The binding white light turned into a dark orange color.
"Oh," he paused for a minute"you're panicked."
"Yes, I am." I confessed.
He sighed deeply, and ran a hand through his dark hair and continued walking without looking at me. After several minutes we finally reached a door.
He walked to it,opened the door, and looked at me as to advance forward.
What I saw was terrifying.
The room was of a hospital, with its shitty decor, I was lying there, lifeless but with a weak heart beat. Several pipes were shoved inside me, and bandages around my head.
I went inside, only to be startled by another door flinging open. It was Leah, hair in a messy bun, eyes glassy and bloodshot, her face was stained with tears, the picture of pain.
She walked right through me,and settled on the sofa.
"Anne, please," she said,"come back to me," she took a deep breath,"I'll tell you everything, but for that, please I need....." She broke down.
Andy was right, this was absolutely painful and nerve-wracking.
I walked over to her,but something made my stomach churn violently, I tried to keep the bile down, but what cane out was a choked gasp.
"Andy-." I said in between breaths, but he rushed over to me,and I fell limp in his arms.
"Shh," he delicately stroked my hair, and I felt myself being tucked in a bed.
I felt his presence near me,and I listened to his breaths and heart beats until I was on the edge of sleep.
He slowly crept close to me, putting one arm around my waist, the other hand playing with my hair.
