Chapter 1

Sorry if this story sucks. It's my first fan fiction. So here we go!

Grace's P.O.V.

I don't know where I am. It feels like I haven't eaten in weeks. I am bruised all over my body. I have no hope anymore. I would do anything to just die. I have tried to escape but I feel to weak. I run my fingers through my curly blonde hair as I sit in silence.

"Grace?" He said in a tormenting voice," Where are you?"

His heavy footsteps thump down the stairs. I can't hide; the room that he has hidden me in is too small and bare. I know that he is here to torment me.

Several hours later...

I need to escape ,but first I should explain how I got here. Josh was my boyfriend. We were happy ,but he started to change.

In the beginning, he became violent occasionally. Soon, he would become angry quickly ,and he would usually become hostile to me. He started to beat me whenever he became angry. I didn't know what to do.

When I decided that I was going to leave him, he beat me and trapped me in his basement. I don't know how long I have been trapped here ,but I became trapped on May 21, 2012.

Now that you know how long I have been here, I think it is time to plan my escape.
