*********************Our Parker house's backyard is filled with friends and neighbour. There is lot of food, music and talking around.
I just got tired of meeting mom and dad's friend and repeating over the same sentence to everyone 'Nice to meet to sir/ma'am.' I mean, fake smiling is not my thing. There are some people whom I really like meeting and then there are some people whom I don't like meeting at all. There are some desperate daughters of mom's client stripping me and Greg with their eyes.
"Adam, Greg." Mom called us. "Come over here." She motioned with her hand. Me and Greg, stood beside her.
"Meet, Mrs. Tiffany Jones and her lovely daughter, Amanda." She told us. We shook hands with the tall lady standing in front of us and her daughter. "And these are my son. Greg" she motioned towards him. "and that's Adam." She said patting on my shoulder.
Amanda smiled at us. She was wearing a red long dress which mom had only designed. I knew it since I saw her working on it. She has shoulder length blonde hairs which were curled up.
"Oh! Amanda dear! Why don't you spend some time with them? I am sure you would get bored with us." Her mother pushed her forward towards us that she almost tripped in over her heels but Greg just caught her in time by the waist. Smooth move brother.!!!
"Are you okay, dear?" Mom and Mrs Jones asked, trying to sound worry but seeing their expression I could tell; they were enjoying the scene in front of them. Mothers!! Trying to hook their children up...
"Are you okay?" Greg asked Amanda, looking straight in her eyes. None of them, losing the eye contact, as he helped her up.
"Yeah, never been better." She said but then suddenly realising her words, her eyes grew wide. "Oh sorry. I mean that I am fine." Everyone started laughing except Amanda, who was looking at her feet to hide the embarrassment and Greg, who was rubbing his neck.
"Sure... I think we should just leave the kids alone." Mom said leaving with Mrs. Jones.
"Guys! Stop... you look like tomatoes." I was laughing, looking at their faces. "Shut up, Adam" Greg said, punching me lightly on the shoulder.
"Sorry! I just blurted out that. Oh god! This is so embarrassing." Amanda said, covering her face with her hands.
"It's okay. We have been in worst situation." Greg told her smiling. It made her at ease.
"Will you like me to show you around?" he asked her.
"Yes! Why not!" and they left me. Okay! If Greg would leave me alone because of his girlfriend, then I will have to force him to stay single. I would have to talk to him about that!!! Brothers before!
From the distance, I could see them laughing about something. They seem to fit together, I thought to myself. I saw Ryder holding Jessica by her waist and talking to her about something. Better not make out in public and in a party, AT MY HOUSE and more importantly, on my parent's anniversary. I should better warn them.
