"Didn't I say, this was futile! I said, this idea was not going to work. Didn't I?" I said over the phone.

"Calm down. We will find a way to get to her. Why don't you just come back for now? Jeremy and me will try to get some information out." Sam tried to calm me down.

"Just don't do something illegal to put your innocent boyfriend in jail. I don't have enough money to get you both bailed out." I reminded her about the talks we had, before I was leaving for Riverwood. She is quite a handful.

"I think, you should try being polite to your friend who put your head into place and is helping you to find your love. So, just shut up and get your fat ass over here. We have a girl to find. Bye, Adam." She hung up the phone on me. Despite what she said, I smiled looking at the phone. I must have done something great in my previous life to get an incredible friend like her.

After Sam and Jeremy left yesterday, I started thinking about her suggestion. So, I woke up early today and left for Riverwood. But there was no sign of Anna, at the address that Sam gave me. Apparently, Daniel sold the house to someone, few months back after he settled in our town.

I got into the car and started the ignition. The car needs a gas refill. I pulled infront of a gas station and handed the money. Infront of the station, I saw a café. It instantly reminded me of my untouched breakfast in the morning. I parked the car in the parking spot and entered it. The little bell on the door tinkled behind me.

I took a booth by the window and ordered myself a cold coffee with mac n cheese. I looked outside the window to see a couple walking with their hands twined together. The girl was talking about something while the guy was just looking at the girl and smiling. He kissed her gently and I averted my gaze. Why can't have something like that?

My food arrived infront of me and took a sip of the coffee. Suffice to say, it was one of the best I had ever had. The mac n cheese was awesome too. I heard the bell at the door tinkling again. I looked up and saw a girl entering. She had shades on her eyes and her black hair flowing down her back.

"Hey! Peter. Give me and Jason our usual." She said to the boy behind the counter. "so, how's everything going? I have some work at Aquarius with Dad or I would have stayed and checked somethings myself. But there is always a next time." she winked at the boy and tapped her fingers on the counter, waiting for her order. The girl looks vaguely familiar to me but I don't remember where I had seen her.

I pressed on my memory harder, trying to remember the girl. I know I have seen her but where? Why does my mind stop working when I need it? Oh yes! Now I remember. How could I forget! She is the girl whom I saw in that picture in Anna's house. Yes, it is her. Maybe, she can tell me about Anna. Maybe she would know, where she is now. They could be friends, right?! She can tell about the past, what happened with Anna to make herself think as a bad omen.

But when I looked at the spot where the girl was standing, she had already gone. What! No! no! I need to talk to that girl. I left the food and looked outside the window. She was getting into a car. I ran out of the door but when I reached, the car was out of sight. The person who could maybe tell me about her is now gone. I ran my hand through my hair. What should I do now? Head back home now. I felt someone tapping on my shoulder.
