Ok, yes I understand that Kishimoto is not a girl. Yes I understand that writing the opposite gender is harder than writing your own gender. Yes I understand female characters are hard to write.

But Kishimoto was a writer, a published author.

I don't understand why he didn't make Sakura a more "normal" person in the series. Ino was also a character he could've made better as well.

Yes I understand when he made these two characters Naruto was new. Yes I understand he probably didn't have much writing experience on female main characters.

Although that doesn't give a reason on why they are so weak in shippuden. TWO YEARS had passed, all the males were much stronger, all the males were developed, all the males were fleshed out. All the females barely grew, all the females were barely developed, all the females were barely flesh out.

Yes I know some males were more developed than the others, yes I know some females were developed less than the others, but it was obvious that the girls were weaker. I know it is a stereotype that girls are weaker, I know that not many stories have strong female leads, I know that there wouldn't be much to base off of.

And still, that is no reason why Tenten is so weak, why Ino is so selfish, why Sakura is completely over Sasuke. That is no reason why Tenten is forgotten, why Ino is so weak, why Sakura has huge mood swings very often.

Yes I know Choji was still weak, yes I know Naruto had huge mood swings very often, and yes I know that team Gai was reduced to a joke team.

There's a lot of things wrong with Naruto, and I can't name them all, but making the girl characters better, would've been an easy fix.

(Yeah I know Sakura was only using a part of her strength for that diamond thing on her forehead but noting really changed after that)
