Anyways, why does everyone use Karin as the bad guy in SasuSaku books? I just realized that! Excuse me if I'm wrong, but I've never seen Karin bash Sakura in the anime or manga. I get that she's the only rival Sakura has for Sasuke other than Ino, but it's getting really unoriginal. Actually, I've barely seen any fanfics with Ino as Sakura's rival, and if she is they usually end up as friends in the end. Yet when Karin is used, something bad usually happens to her, like she gets humiliated or something.
I mean... I'm kinda guilty of this... BUT I turned her into a good guy cause I thought 'why not?' Plus I really like Karin's character Lool.
Back to the rant, why not use an OC? I know some people are scared of making their OC into a Mary Sue but if your story is a Modern AU then it shouldn't be a problem. I've been thinking about this all day, you really can't make a Modern AU OC into a Mary Sue unless she's rich and everyone loves her.
Yeah.. that's all I gotta say. This rant is probably poorly written cause I'm really sick and sleepy sooo.. don't kill me.
