Crosstagging

Alright. So my last rant had a little side note about crosstagging, but now I want to do a larger rant.

Enough.

It's okay to hate a ship. It's okay to bash that ship in a book.

Hell, I do that all the time.

But what's not cool is tagging your book as the pairing you're bashing.

There's nothing worse for a fangirl's mind than clicking on her OTP tag and finding books that bash the pairing.

Specifically, on wattpad, this is an issue with SasuKarin.

I know, you guys hate my ship. You hate her. I'm fine with that

But for the love of Jashin, stop tagging anti SasuKarin books with the SasuKarin tag!!

I'm tired of clicking the tag, looking for a book to read, and finding SasuSaku or NaruSasu books that are all about how Karin is a slut.

That's not SasuKarin.

That would be like me tagging my rant book with SasuSaku or other pairings I don't like.

(for those who don't know, my rant book has lots of anti-chapters.)

Same goes for the NaruHina and NaruSaku books. Several of those on here tag their rival pairing.

Like no.

And anti books are guilty of this, too. There are several anti SasuSaku books on here, and some of them are tagged as SasuSaku.

That's not fair to SasuSaku shippers.

Also, this is a huge thing on Tumblr.

People post NaruHina hate under the #naruhina and NaruHina fans post their replies under the #anti naruhina tag.

Stay in your lane, people. Don't make shipping hell. It should be fun to find a fanfic or fanart of your OTP, not painful or frustrating.
