Romance writers, or even writers that have even a little romance in their stories, take notes from Horimiya.

Yeah sure there might be better ones out there but guess what, I don't know them.

Kishimoto, if he would have based NaruHina off of Horimiya's love story, that ship would have been made a lot better.

Like, Hori and Izumi were good friends, and stayed that way for a long while. While they denied their feelings their friends tried to make sense of all this and (as all friends do) jumped to conclusions and thought they were dating. (COUGH COUGH GRACE IM TALKING ABOUT YOU)

Obviously, they denied this but then soon realizing they liked each other.

For example in Naruto, Sakura liked Sasuke for HER WHOLE LIFE. Do you even remember your first crush?? Yeah, I thought as much. Liking the same person for your whole life is very very unlikely. Just like how Naruto decided he liked Hinata in that one 2 hour long movie. Not natural.

And then there's Fairy Tail. Buuuut let's leave that alone since I don't know to much about it.

Just as normal person would, they tried to hide what they were thinking and only told close friends whom they trusted, and still had a hard time trying to figure everything out.

I'm not sure how everything ends up though, as I'm only about 21 chapters into the story. But so far it's been good.

(Just saying, the rant is a really passive one about how Naruto COULD HAVE HAD A BETTER LOVE STORIES)
