A/N: :3

The next day Marinette just walked and walked around the whole city. She visited some places where she had been before and went to other places where she always wished to go. She even went to the carrousel and saw a lot of happy families.

"Huh... What day is it?" she asked herself. Usually there weren't a lot of people during Wednesdays. Since she didn't have her phone and she could talk to others, she looked for someone using their phone. She saw a lady doing just that and Marinette quickly ran there. She saw the day. It was Sunday.

"That explains it then...".

Marinette then realised she was completely lost in time. She knew that at least one month had passed, but she didn't know which day she was in. Then, she realised another thing. She hadn't eaten in one month. She wasn't hungry, but she missed the taste of her parents' pastries.

Marinette recognized Alya. She was with her sisters and her mother. Marinette remembered that her father worked at the zoo with the black panther. She smiled weakly and left before the feelings got to her. She also missed Alya a lot. She missed her plans to help Marinette talk to Adrien. Sometimes, she could come up with crazy ideas. Even once Alya told her she would ask for help.

Again walking through the streets of Paris, Marinette suddenly felt some kind of pain in her chest. It made her fall to the ground. She clutched her shirt as she made an effort to resist the pain.

Was that it? Was she going to go forever? The poor bluenette gripped harder, trying to calm her pain. 5 minutes was how much it lasted. Once it was over, Marinette stood up once again and took a deep breath.

"What was that...?" Marinette asked herself. It was horrible. She felt as if she wasn't able to breathe. There was a heavy weight on her chest that forced her to fall to the ground. Marinette was more scared than ever. What if that meant that something was happening to her body? What if she was about to die for real?

She couldn't let that take over though. Maybe she could learn how to properly use her abilities as a ghost. That could help her to leave behind the fact that she wasn't able to find the chosen one. Her mind wouldn't stop haunting her with the idea of staying as a ghost for all eternity, or even worse, dying; not surviving the coma. Marinette wouldn't see Alya again, she wouldn't bake with her parents, she wouldn't talk to Chat, and she wouldn't see Adrien again. Marinette sobbed.

"Adrien...".

She loved him, oh, she loved him a lot. She would surely miss him, but right now she had to be strong. Marinette had to leave that behind and focus on other things. She needed a distraction, and using her abilities could be that she was looking for.

Marinette made a quick list of her abilities:

Passing through people and things.
If focused enough, she could touch or even grab things.
She could overshadow bodies.

And... That was it. She started with the easiest one. Passing through stuff. She saw a person coming and she walked directly to them. She passed right through. Alright, that was mastered.

Now, buildings. She looked to the right and passed through the wall. Then, she jumped as far as she could and passed through the ceiling.

"Woah, I'm really light...". Marinette went back inside and officially proclaimed that ability mastered. Now, grabbing things. There was no one inside, so the risk of traumatizing someone for life wasn't existent.

Marinette saw a pen and grabbed it with no problem. Then she tried with a picture, nailed it. After that, a plate. Perfectly done. Finally, a small chair. It was a bit hard, but she did it.
