Adrien stared at Marinette, still smiling, still in shock. She had just woken up! That was amazing! Alya was still hugging the bluenette, who apparently didn't know what was going on. She eventually returned the hug and noticed Adrien. Her face immediately turned red, and she looked down, to avoid his gaze. Strange... Marinette had stopped doing that some time after finding out his secret identity as Chat Noir. Maybe she remembered the kiss he gave her?
Adrien blushed a little as well, but he couldn't help himself. That kiss... He did it out of desperation. Nothing else had come to mind in that instant. The blond still wondered though... Why did she blush? Was the kiss really the reason? The first thing she did when seeing him wasn't even smiling or talking. Her behavior right now reminded him of how she used to behave around him. Something was going on.

Alya let go of her friends and turned to the door "Nino is taking a little too much time," she looked at Adrien, then at Marinette. She smiled to herself "I'll go look for him... Don't you dare kiss her again Agreste". That being her last phrase, Alya left with a mischievous grin placed on her face.

Marinette was blushing yet again*, looking at Adrien with wide eyes. As always when he's nervous or embarrassed, Adrien scratched the back of his head. He sat down on the chair next to the bed.

"I-It's a long story... Anyways, how are you feeling?" Adrien asked, trying to drive that topic away for now.

"U-Ummm... W-Well, ha-happened I'm what sti-still process to try-trying" she babbled. Adrien blinked. What on Earth did she just say?

"...". He waited for her to realize her tremendous grammar mistakes. It didn't take long.

"Oh my Gosh, I-I'm sorry! What I meant t-to say is t-that I'm still trying to pr-process wh-what happened" Marinette corrected herself. Adrien couldn't stop himself from giggling a little.

"So, er, what's the last thing you remember?" he asked casually. If his theory is correct then that would mean...

"Mmhh... I remember... A-An explosion, a... A bomb or something... Then everything e-else became dark for a r-really long time, and now I'm here. What happened to me anyway?".

That would mean she didn't remember anything that happened to her as a ghost. Adrien straightened up in shock, staring at her with a blank expression, then sighed in disappointment. He really wanted for her to recall everything. But the question is how?

"Um, you were in a coma for one month or so". Marinette eyes opened as big as plates, she then moved both her hands to each of her ears. She touched them and her became partially glassy and surprised. Why her ears?

"R-Really? So... Uhm... Do yo-you know how I ended up here?" Marinette asked, lowering her hands to grab the blankets. I brought you here as Chat Noir, I told you about that when you were a ghost, remember? He really wanted to spit that out, but of course he couldn't do it.

"I heard Chat Noir found you lying unconscious in a park, so he brought you here" he simply said, and she just nodded, and stayed silent for some seconds. Then she turned to Adrien, took a deep breath for some reason and finally talked.

"And what happened to the Akuma?" Marinette sounded desperate. At least she remembered that fact. He was about to answer he when another voice beat him to it.

"Chat Noir took care of it, honestly that was his best fight until now. You should have seen him Mari!" Alya said as she came in with Nino and the doctor. Adrien looked away, and chuckled. He really did feel proud of what he did with Tloz.

The doctor examined Marinette a bit, during that time her parents came in and without even bothering to ask, they interrupted the examinations by hugging her daughter. With tears streaming down from their eyes, they told Marinette how much they missed her and how relieved they were because she was OK. Marinette hugged them back, sobbing. Once the doctor finished, he gave a quick look to his notes.
