He stared at us. Hurt in his eyes.

" I'm sorry, i didn't mean to hurt you! Caroline you must believe me!" He kneeled in front of us," Adelia, please forgive me I was trying to protect you I didn't want to scare you, so I had to knock you out. You were struggling far to much. I was trying to help you." He said as he wiped my tears away gently.

" Charles, stop talking I will talk to you in the library go on!" she turned to look at me," Adelia, what a pretty name, why don't you go get in some clothes. I'll lead you there, you can wash up and such. I'll have Margret help she's a lovely girl. She'll be nice and helpful don't worry. Your safe." She said letting go of me and helping me stand up.

She grabbed my arm leading me out of the sterile white room. We walked out into an endless hall way which was lite my lights hanging from the ceiling a slight flame glowing every few feet.

"Here we are." She stopped at a door that looked no different from the rest.

I the room was a large king sized bed with multiple pillows. Another door, probably the bathroom, was on the left wall. On the right, probably the closet.

The walls had a pink tint, the rug was white like the bed and ceiling. The crown molding beautifully wrapped around the room.

Margret sat in the corner warily in a chair. Her hands folded in her lap, wringing her sleeves. She looked up, staring at me for a few seconds. Her lips open slightly.

"B-b-but your dead. One day since you breathed." She said quietly to herself. Though we both heard her.

"Can you please find her some clothes, Margret, and make sure they are her size my dear." Caroline said politely.

"Yes, Miss here's the bathroom I'll fill the tub." She murmured still stunned.

Caroline left and I followed Margret to the bathroom. She filled the tub as I sat in the corner on the couch. I stared at her. She finished filling the tub and walked out.

" I'll find you some clothes, Miss Cartwrite." She said while leaving.

"Ah, Margret, thank you." I said politely.

She continued walking. I don't think she likes me.

I got undressed and sat in the water grabbing the soap. Once I had finished I got out and grabbed the towel. I walked toward the mirror on the wall and turned around. The scars on my back were red. Very red. They burned, looking made it worse. So I walked out of the bathroom and looked at the bed. A dress was laid out. It was a beautiful green.

I got dressed quickly. It fit perfectly. It was quiet pretty. I ran my hands over the material, it was a smooth silk. I looked up to see Charles staring at me. In spa nick I threw a vase at his hand.

"How long were you there!" atleast I had put under clothes on in the bathroom.

" I just walked in to see if you were finished I was going to lead you to the library." He looked down, he in that moment looked like a child who could do no harm. If he did though, it wouldn't end well. For some reason I spared him at the bench, that told me it all, but my mundane survival skills kicked in.

" I have decided, you meant no harm. It's okay, Caroline helped me decide you only mean to help. Now-" I was cut off by him.

" Everything will be explained in the library." He walked over and hooked his arm through mine and led me to the most unsettling news yet.
