I entered the dinning room and sat across from Phillip, Caroline had sat next to Daniel.
On my right was Daisy and on my left was Charles. Food was out on the table having just been set. We each spread food on our plates and quietly set to devouring it.
"So, Adelia, I hear you are just founding out some.... ah, news. Exciting?" Alexander said, when he pronounced news he leaned forward his eyes grew a bit and his eyebrows lifted.
" What ever do you mean?" I said, not wanting to know about it.
"Ah, I see. We'll never mind." He leaned back and smiled, shoveling a forkful of potatoes into his mouth.
Daisy pushed my arm a bit, asking for my attention.
" So I know America hasn't been good to you so far." She fake coughed as she said Charles." Though it is quite nice, I'll show you around tomorrow if you'd like?" She asked politely, as if she knew I would say no.
"I... would love that. Absolutely." I said, happy I would get out.
" I may have to tag along." Charles said with a laugh.
I turned to him annoyed, " I was hoping to go shopping, you wouldn't want to go, unless of course you are into cross-dressing. I wouldn't be surprised. Your quite feminine."
He just stared as everyone laughed.
" Fine, but I will have you know I do not cross dress in am very manly." He finally said.
"Mhm, sure whatever you say, Ms.Charlotte." I said setting my fork down. I wiped my face with a napkin.
Alexander was finished to he took his plate and mine and stacked them.
"You must be tired. I'll take these plates and show you how to navigate your way to your room." He said with his what seemed like permanent smile.
" That would be most appreciated." I smiled back. I could ask him about his odd questions.
"Come along." He ushered, "Ill put these in the sink and then we can go on."
He pushed the door open as I followed. the kitchen was very large, but nothing exciting. He placed the plates down gently then hooked his arm through mine.
"Now, don't mind my bothering but could you explain to me your numerous comments that leave me wondering, what ever do you mean?" I said looking up to his eyes. They were a beautiful blue. His slick black hair had a tint of purple almost. His features strong and profound. His body tall and fit.
" I knew you would ask that's why I offered to take you alone so we could talk." He said his smiling coming back." I know she told you, and I know that you know she told us. Not that she had to, we could tell."
"It's true? What Caroline said." I murmured.
"Yes. Your special, very dangerous to. Though you have more enemies. People want you gone. There is something about you though, your not a simple angel, you dear your different.
They want you gone because your ten times more lethal. More human then the rest to, but your no nephil like us. We are more human. The only difference between us and them is we can see demons as they are and we know how to use our powers. They have potential but they are close minded really." He looked ahead, his face had grown serious."Here is your room."
"Will you come in? I would love to know more if thats okay. If not I will see you tomorrow." I said hoping he would accept.
"Of course, it's good that your not denoting who you are." He said with a smile.
We walked in and sat on the sofa in the corner.
"What first?" He asked.
" The nephillim. They sound beautiful, they have souls and emotion but are strong." I said, they really sound quite amazing.
" Who said angels are not beautiful and that they don't have emotion, I'm looking at one who fits that description right now." He said, I felt my skin grow hot. Dear god I barely knew him but his comment made my body tingle and my skin grow warm.
I must've looked uncomfortable so he talked about the nephillim. What they do, how they are, how many of them live, how they start and live.
I fell asleep listening in his arms.
