"You thought you could escape." He said. I screamed as my eyes flew open. He wasn't really here. Charles came running through the door from the kitchen.
"What is it it, love? What's wrong?" He said frantically.
"Nothing. Just a dream." I said calming down taking deep breaths. He looked at me sadly and came and hugged me.
"It'll be over soon." He said.
"I know." I muttered. It wasn't though. Neither him nor Jaime would let me go outside. I could not find William. If I didn't find him no one else would either as he had been hidden for six weeks.
That's how long I sat in this rotten cottage. My life wasting away. I planned on sneaking out though. I found a note one day from Will. He knew I was trying to find him. He knew I was here.
I woke up to find a note and vial on the vanity. Charles was god knows where as was Jaime. I told them I wasn't feeling well and that I needed space. They left but I still had to stay here.
The note told me the vial would knock someone out for 24 hours. It told me where to meet him. So I planned on it. Tonight was the night I would finally kill him.
Dinner would be ready in an soon. I was making a soup with bread. As I pour three bowls I was careful to fill mine a bit less so only I would notice. I would pour the vial into the larger two then be on my way twenty minutes after they finished.
I was dressed in a plain white dress that ended just above my knee. My hair was tied back in a ponytail the pin would turn into a knife well correctly used. I found it at the mansion.
I put it in my hair along with a small dagger placed strategically in my corset so it would go unnoticed and it was slim and the handle was thin two and lay between my breast under my shirt. I had a light jacket on to cover it better. I had another in my stockings and my left boot.
All out of site as the boys sat and ate.
"Is it good?" I asked finishing mine.
"It's great." Charles said.
Jaime had a mouthful of food so he have me a toothless smile.
"I'm glad." I said. I sat on the counter as they finished up. Jaime stood.
"I'm going to go to my room, goodnight." He said.
"Goodnight." I replied in unison with Charles.
"Gosh I'm feeling tired to." He yawned. "Im going to go to bed to. Come along whenever you like, dear." He leaned to kiss me on the forehead then walked to our room.
I stood and went to the front door. I grabbed the skeleton key as I went. I walked for three miles to a spot in the middle of fields.
"You came." He said from behind me. I felt a sharp pain suddenly, my head was pounding as I fell to the floor. My vision began to blur.
"Ah my little princess, did you really think it would be so easy?" He murmured kneeling next to me as I blacked out.
