I'm quite sure I may have made history with how quickly I showered and got dressed. I just couldn't get rid of the unease about leaving Caleb and Reid to their own devices down in the kitchen, not after the tense moment earlier. Maybe Reid would leave Caleb to have his breakfast and go back upstairs although I highly doubt it. I didn't understand Caleb's reaction, he's been fine about me and Reid getting closer, up until now. Even last night when he walked in on us he was more flustered than annoyed or pissed off, what had changed? Grabbing my ankle boots I darted along the hallway hopping on one foot as I tugged on one shoe before doing the same with the other, relieved when I didn't end up flying face first down the stairs. I paused half way looking around as I heard raised voices praying I was imaging one of them was Reid before taking the remaining stairs as quickly as possible only to run into Tyler who smiled awkwardly as he caught my arms.

"Careful, you nearly mowed me down."

"This is my house!" Our eyes met as Caleb's voice boomed from the kitchen.

"What's going on?"

"It's nothing." My eyebrow rose as Tyler stepped into my way again, blocking me from going down the hallway to the kitchen. "So, Kate said she's taking you out today. Are you looking forward to getting out of the mad house?"

"Not really." I mumbled trying to sidestep him only to huff as he blocked me again this time catching my arms again.

"It won't be that bad, it's nice and sunny out, some fresh air will do you good."

"Tyler, let me pass." I groaned trying to push past him as continued to block me. "What is going on in there?" I craned my neck around him trying to wriggle out of his grasp while attempting to hear what Caleb and Reid were arguing about. Finally pulling out of his grasp I took a step back, glaring at him, now severely pissed off before punching him in the stomach with enough force to make him double over with a groan.

"BELLE!" Stepping around Tyler who was still bent over, coughing, I made my way to the kitchen ready to burst through the door any second only to be almost tackled to the floor by Kate who seemed to have been thrown out it.

"Belle, hey! How are you? Ready to go? Great, let's go." Kate barely took a second to breath before bombarding me with questions and grabbing my arm, tugging me away from the kitchen as Tyler made his way past us.

"Wait, Kate, stop. What's going on in there? Are Reid and Caleb arguing? Stop!" Tugging at her surprisingly strong grip I tried unsuccessfully to get answers from her so decided to try lying instead. "Kate, stop, stop I've not had breakfast. You don't want me to run out of energy before we've even got started today do you? KATE! Stop already!" Dragging my feet, I finally managed to make her grind to a halt for barely a minute just before she practically shoved me out the front door never skipping a beat as she followed closely behind me, herding me towards Tyler's SUV.

"Oh, that's perfect, I know the perfect little café and they have the most delicious little bakery. Oh, we are going to have a fantastic time. We can make it a real event, come on we don't want to waste time." Letting her shove me into the car I waited for her to make her way to the driver's seat fully intending on making a run for it only to hear the chirp of the locks as she locked me in and made her way around the SUV. Defeated I slumped back in the seat desperate to know why Caleb and Reid were arguing.

"Kate, you need to take me back. We've been here for hours. Seriously we've had breakfast, we've shopped, we've enjoyed the sun hell we've even had our nails done." I eyed my newly painted French manicure, it was the most basic thing she'd agree to let me get done. Painted nails don't last long with me, give it half an hour and they'll be chipped or broken or something. "Please, please let me go back, for the love of god please." I begged as we sat down at a little restaurant she said we just had to have lunch at. I'm sure she could make this little trip to town become a two or three day event at the rate we were going. I'd caught her several times hiding behind a clothes rail or a display of shoes and handbags tapping away furiously on her phone, refusing point blank to tell me if it was one of the boys.
