Chapter 3

Hiccups POV

The girls came back with blackberries and firewood. Good thing because it was starting to grow dark.

Merida started the fire and we all sat around it.....well except Jack.

He was sitting a pretty good distance away in a big green lush tree. I noticed he was trying not to look towards us...or at least the fire.

"Jack? Don't you want some food?" Rapunzel asked.

"Ah no I'm okay spirits don't need to eat. But thanks though." He said still not looking our way.

"Well why don't you come sit we can't talked to you from all the way over there." Merida said.

"I'm ok over here." He said glancing over. That's when I noticed it.

The fire glowed in Jack's eyes but the fear in them glowed twice as bright. His body posture stiffened.

It reminded me of when I first met Toothless. I was afraid.

"i'll talk to him." i said.

I went over to Jack by myself. His gaze was now away from the fire and his back was turned. "Jack?"

"I told you I'm fine over here Hiccup."

"Jack it's okay if you're afraid of fire. I mean it's understandable you being a winter spirit I'd be terrified of it myself." Hiccup said quietly.

"I'm not afraid! It's just fire." Jack said.

"Ok then why don't you come over there?"

"Because- I just want to be alone for awhile! Jeez!"

"Fine but I just wanted to tell you we're all afraid of something."

I began walking away when I heard my name being called.

"Hey Hic?" He said.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Don't tell The girls.........especially Rapunzel."

"Your secrets safe with me."

Suddenly the air began getting colder. We all looked up into the sky and saw storm clouds whirling around. The fjord started to freeze. Glistening white snow brushed on the tree tops. Everything turned shades of blues and whites.

"Holy crap! Jack did you do this?" Merida asked shivering.

"No I swear! But I kind of wish I did I mean check these ice patterns out! He said looking at the frozen fjord.

"Well it may be great for you but some of us aren't adjusted to the cold." Merida said.

"Rapunzel are you okay?" I asked.

Rapunzel was shivering and her hair had icicles on it. Her face was growing pale.

"Sp sp spirit of spring. To too too mu much cold!" She stuttered.

"We have to get her some place warm," I said.

"We'll start looking now." Jack stated "The quicker the better"

"Is that smoke?" Merida asked.

"Well where there's smoke there are people." I said.

We followed the trail with Toothless carrying Rapunzel and Merida who were bundled in blankets. Jack and I were the only ones really used to the freezing cold so we walked.

We crossed the snowy forest and found a cabin.

"Guys there's a sauna in here it says." I said enthusiastically.

"Sorry bud, you'll have to stay outside." I said. "Keep yourself warm."

He grunted and burnt part of the ground the best he could and sat on the newly warmed ground.

"That's a good boy we'll be out soon."

"Yoohoo! Big summer blow out!" A big jolly looking man said when we came into the place.

"Uh actually do you mind if we use your sauna? Our friends aren't used to the cold."

"Oh go ahead! My family loves company! Yoo HOO!"

Inside were about five people waving back from inside the warm sauna.

"Can we get some winter clothes for the girls too?" Jack asked. But the man paid no attention too him.

"Jack I don't think he can see you." I whispered.

"Oh of course I kinda forgot...in Corona I'm like there winter mascot so everyone believes in me. Guess that's not the same case here." He said.

"Uh do you happen to have any winter clothes for the girls?" I asked.

"Well we have our winter stock."

There a bare wall that had three winter dresses and three capes and boots.

"Uh exude me can I get what they're getting?" A voice said.

I turned to see a girl in a summer dress who looked half frozen. Her dress was frozen in place making her waddle when she moved.

"Hi I'm Anna. It's nice to meet you all but I gotta get to a sauna and go get my sister." She said while her dress started to thaw.

"Well you'd be the only ones crazy enough to be out in a storm like this."

All of a sudden this huge guy covered in snow who looked like he was the abdominal snowman. Came in.

"Well you four and this fellow." He said. "Yoo HOO big summer blowout!"

Authors note: SURPRISE! The big four meet frozen. So yeah it wasn't that big of a surprise because they landed in the forest of Arandelle.... But anyway surprise!! So I hope you all like how the story's going! Please comment vote and share!
